“Darling!”

Yang Ming, who was ‘standing guard’ at the corner, turned his head and saw Hera walking briskly towards him.

She had changed back into her previous outfit, the dress giving her a touch of innocence.

“I’m okay,” Yang Ming glanced at the only remaining officer beside him, “they just made me fill out a form and glanced at my ID; I’m perfectly fine.”

“How could you have broken any laws? They must have misunderstood.”

Hera hesitated and winked at Yang Ming.

This indicated that the plan was proceeding smoothly.

Hera said, “I suddenly have a project issue and need to rush back for a meeting. I’m sorry, I can’t continue with you for now… You understand, don’t you? It’s a sudden situation.”

Yang Ming quickly said, “But we just got here; I already booked everything we need for our upcoming trip.”

“I’m really sorry,” Hera leaned forward and gently hugged Yang Ming.

She whispered in Yang Ming’s ear, “I put the gift I’m giving you in your suitcase. I originally planned to surprise you when we got back. It’s an exquisite card holder, nothing special. Also, I’ll always use the backpack you gave me.”

Yang Ming blinked.

This seemed like content outside the plan.

Hera released Yang Ming, picked up her suitcase, and moved forward. The officer enthusiastically stepped forward without reservation, directly helping Hera with her luggage.

Yang Ming frowned as he watched the scene.

Hera lowered into the backseat of the hover car, with the officer moving to the front passenger seat.

Lyu sent a text message:

Yang Ming put his hands in his pockets, turned, and walked to the room where he and Hera had not stayed, closing the door behind him. He quickly lunged at the wardrobe, dragging out the suitcase to search.

He hadn’t worn any of the clothes here, so leaving them was not an issue.

Soon, Yang Ming found a single earbud in the pocket of a shirt.

It was a device for playing recordings.

Yang Ming put on the earbud, tapped his glasses a few times, picked up his disguise terminal and spare glasses, and quietly closed the door.

Hera’s voice emerged in the earbud.

“Alright, partner.

Hera’s voice continued:

This hover car would be Yang Ming’s next hiding spot, from where he would continue to maneuver at a distance.

Three minutes later.

Hera arrived at the area where the base entrance was located, the hot spring town Yang Ming had tried to reach last time.

And Hera’s left eye lens had sent back the first set of images.
