Boudoir Pleasures (2)

Zheng Wan shoved the comb into his hand self-righteously.
“You messed it up, you comb it.”

Cui Wang cast his eyes down at the head of long, raven-black hair. Thick and voluminous, it was currently draped behind her head softly, swishing and swaying with the breeze.

“I don’t know how,” he said.

The feather-light ivory comb in his hand, however, was already running through the woman’s abundant black hair.

Zheng Wan said smilingly, “ Just comb it so it’s smooth and tidy.”

His eyes lowered, Cui Wang brushed her hair seriously, one stroke after another. When he lowered his eyes, the ends of them looked even longer and narrower, and his eyelashes were like crow feathers, exuding a kind of gorgeous charm that was entirely different from his usual cold elegance.

Zheng Wan admired it for a while, then heard him say,
“It’s done.”

She touched her hair with satisfaction. Sure enough, it was smooth as can be. Contrary to what the people in the mortal world thought, the hair of female cultivators would get knotted too.

“Draw my brows too,” said Zheng Wan with a smile.

“I don’t know how.”
Cui Wang put the comb back on the dressing table with a smack. Before he could move away, a fair and slender hand grabbed his wrist. Zheng Wan looked at the bronze mirror and tugged at him with her willowy wrist.

“Draw my brows,” she said unhappily with a pout. Her cherry-like lips seemed to be stained with juice.

Cui Wang looked at the wrist he could break with just one move and felt that he had spoiled her too much recently.

“I can’t draw them well,” he said.

“It’s okay,” said Zheng Wan pettishly. “I like that you’re drawing them for me.”

She raised her head. Her brows were naturally charming and coquettish, and there was a brow brush in her hand which she took to stuff into Cui Wang’s hand. “Hurry, draw.” Actually, she was just unhappy to see Cui Wang’s immovable demeanour and couldn’t help but want to make things difficult for him.

“Hey.”
Seeing that Cui Wang was still not moving, Zheng Wan pouted unhappily. “Forget it if you don’t want to.”

She wanted to get up, but a force pressed her down on the stool. Cui Wang took hold of her shoulders to keep her from getting up, then leaned down to take a brow brush to outline her brows.

Zheng Wan looked up at him; cold silk sleeves slid across her cheeks, causing a tingling sensation.

She shrank back reflexively, but her head was restrained.
“Don’t move.”

Zheng Wan stopped moving.
She suddenly recalled the past when he drew her brows in the transient realm back in the mortal world. Speaking of which, the two of them had even pretended to go through marital rites there.

“Cui Wang.”

“Mhm.”

“Don’t draw crookedly like last time.”

“…”
Cui Wang gave a flat “Mhm”. It was only after a while that he put down the brush, then turned her head back to the bronze mirror, motioning for her to take a look.

Zheng Wan looked at the bronze mirror; there was a pair of figures reflected in it.

Cui Wang was standing behind her with his hands on her shoulders. His dark, inky eyes were looking intently at her in the mirror, and at first glance, they looked like a loving couple.

Zheng Wan drew her attention to that pair of brows; the brows were like willows, and from start to finish, she couldn’t find a single fault.

“It’s so well drawn.”
She stroked her eyebrows in admiration, “Did you do it on purpose last time?”

“…”
Cui Wang ignored her, raised his hand to take a round box from the dressing table, opened it, dabbed his fingertip in it lightly, and gently lifted Zheng Wan’s chin.

When the cold fingertip touched her lips, Zheng Wan looked up in astonishment.
“You…”

She asked hesitantly, “What are you doing?”

“Don’t move.”

Cui Wang lowered his eyes; the fingertip that was stained with a bit of rouge landed on her soft lips and rubbed them gently.

Her small face was tilted upwards. Her skin is as white as snow, and her lips were stained with a layer of bright rouge, like a plump and juicy pomegranate that could release juice with just one bite.

Cui Wang’s throat bobbed. Hearing that she was still complaining as she pouted, her mouth opening and closing non-stop, a wave of annoyance rose within him. He really wanted to use something to seal that mouth of hers.

“Shut it.”

Zheng Wan blinked.
“Cui Wang?”

What answered her was a deep kiss that almost reached her throat. Cui Wang sucked and kissed her for a long time until the sweet rouge on her lips was all gone before he raised his head.

“First day of the month.”

“…”
Zheng Wan instantly understood.

Before she could reply, she was pressed against the dressing table. The man’s inner garment she was wearing fell open with a light tug, and the soft material immediately slid down, revealing a fair and gleaming torso.

“Cui Wang!”
Lying on the cold dressing table isn’t comfortable at all, thought Zheng Wan randomly as she clutched the dark head on her chest.

The moon slipped quietly into the clouds; shadows fell upon the green gauze window. Ah Wan looked up and felt that those shadows were somewhat strange—one moment, they were together, in the next moment, they were separate. One moment, the shadows looked like there was a little bird pecking at its food, and in the next moment…

There were also strange sounds, delicate ones, like…
Ah, the stupid Ah Wan couldn’t figure it out.

“Zhenren? Zhenjun?” Ah Wan called out.
Before it could call out again, it was thrown far away by a force and landed beyond the wall of the courtyard next door.

Ah Wan turned in circles but realized that it couldn’t enter the moon gate that it had just come out of. It didn’t make things difficult for itself either and hopped away to catch earthworms nearby.

Moonset.
Sunrise.
Sunset.
Moonrise.
