Chapter 28 Going Home

Under Yun Feng’s puzzled gaze, Huo Ru stammered, “I… I’m a little cold… Can you… sleep with me?”

“So you lied to me?!” Huo Ru felt like a fool and a complete joke.

“Why? Are you questioning your father?” Huo Ru changed the loving tone on the phone. “Look at yourself. What kind of person are you? You kissed a man you didn’t know in public! You’ve embarrassed our family.”

“I’m whatever I want to be!” Huo Ru retorted stubbornly. “It’s my freedom to kiss whoever I want. Let me tell you, not only do I want to kiss him, I want to marry him!”

Huo Ci choked on her words, but he didn’t take them seriously, thinking that she was just spouting nonsense in her anger.
