The man named Qi Sheng was wearing a white shirt. He had a roundish face and well-defined features. He was slightly girlish looking and didn’t look older than eighteen or nineteen. He seemed fairly adorable.

Qi Sheng smiled faintly and picked up a cup to take a sip as he replied in a leisurely manner, “You’re asking me? Hoho, if you’re asking me, then, of course I’m the one who’s going to win!”

The other man instantly yelled back in an indignant manner, “TSK! Oh please, you barely know any literature, can’t play any instruments, can’t recite poetry, are bad at drawing… and you want to win first place? If you ask me, I’m going to be the winner!” He didn’t hold back any of his mockeries. But Qi Sheng didn’t get angry and just laughed along with the other man.

The other two men at the table also laughed along. This commotion naturally caught the attention of others like it had Qingcheng’s. When she came into the main dining area of the restaurant, several people turned to look at her. But after some time, they stopped looking at her, and the noise from this table was attracting all their attention instead.

Qingcheng turned to look at them, and Qi Sheng happened to look up at her too. Their eyes met, and Qi Sheng nodded in a friendly manner. Qingcheng politely responded with a nod, and that was considered a greeting. The rest of his table also looked over to wave and say hello in a friendly manner, so Qingcheng and her table responded in kind. But Qi Sheng’s table actually moved their entire group to join with hers, and Qingcheng wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry at this.

Qi Sheng saw that Qingcheng didn’t object, so they all settled down and started to introduce themselves. “Hello. My name is Qi Sheng, and these gentlemen here are all my friends.
