Moreover, her script was her movie lines. Since she was only filming for an advertisement, the scenes would usually be done in one shot.

After the shot was done, she was left with the task of photoshoots. Xia Siyu had taken numerous photos on the red carpet. This was not to mention her attractive face, which was a highlight in itself. Her beauty was flawless, noticeable even if she were thrown in the sea of masses. She could easily shine if she posed according to the photographer’s requests.

The shoot started at five o’clock. The director initially feared the lighting would be insufficient, and he had nearly booked for a big lighting arrangement. Fortunately, all the shots were done before five-thirty.

Xia Siyu changed back into her dress, and the crew was also done packing. As she reached the parking lot, she realized her necklace was missing. “My necklace!”

Xia Siyu tried to recall where she had left the necklace. She remembered coming into contact with it after shooting and changing out of her costume, but she had not worn it then. Instead, she had put it into her pocket. She realized she might have accidentally lost it later on.

Following what she remembered, she slowly walked out of the courtyard. Indeed, a mere three to four hundred meters away, she spotted a shining item in the grass. It was her necklace.

The design of the pendant was a little old-fashioned, seemingly a boring design of twenty years ago. She clicked it open, and the peach-shaped pendant revealed a small photo.

Inside the photo was a young lady carrying a toddler. The background in the photo seemed to be overseas. The girl resembled Xia Siyu, though she was slightly skinner, her eyes were sharper, and her cheekbones were higher.

As she looked at the photo, Xia Siyu’s finger gently brushed the dirt on the pendant before closing it. Then, she carefully kept it in her bag’s compartment.

After keeping the necklace well, she sent Wei Jingjing a Wechat message.

“I’ve found it. You all can come out now. I’m almost reaching the parking lot. I’ll wait for you there.”
