Chapter 25: A Bath (3)

Xia Siyu was very beautiful.

Her beauty was an objective fact. Regardless of whether one liked her or not, one had no choice but to admit that she was beautiful.

Many celebrities could become goddesses with make-up, but a crazy woman without. This was not the case with Xia Siyu. In her movies, she had always acted as an innocent, cute, and naive girl. Her make-up was very light and sometimes, she even appeared bare-faced in the movie for certain effects. Yet, she did not look too different from her usual self. After all, she was young, fair, and had good skin.

In the steaming bathroom, Xia Siyu’s pale skin had turned pink. At such a close distance, Bo Yan could almost see the red blood vessels beneath her white skin. Her long eyelashes quietly rested as she slept. Her arrogance and prickliness were not here at this moment, and even her slight frown gave her a hint of soft fragility.

When he glanced at her, he saw her pretty upper lip. However, the corners of her lips were slightly sharp. When she smiled, her lips would bend into a beautiful curve, but when she pursed her lips, she looked stubborn.

However, right now, in the blurry steam, that stubbornness had transformed into a pitiable tenderness.

Unknowingly, as Bo Yan looked at her, the coldness and indifference in his eyes faded. He even got closer to her.

His gradually unstable breathing faintly sounded in the air.

When Xia Siyu opened her eyes, she yawned and stretched.

As she stretched, the water around her splashed. Only then did she realize that she was still in the bathtub.

The water in the bathtub had already cooled. She got up, wiped her body with the towel, and lazily changed into a bathrobe. The last few days, she had been too exhausted. She had just finished filming a movie last week, yet her schedule for this week was packed and she had to travel everywhere. Her mental and physical strength were reaching their limits. She even fell asleep in the bathtub.

After wearing her robes, Xia Siyu felt a bit thirsty. Hence, she wore her slippers, wiped her hair with a towel, and walked out of the bedroom. She was going to the living room to pour herself a glass of water.

The light in the living room was lit. She had barely taken a few steps when she realized that something was strange.

When she turned back, she saw a man sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Bo Yan!

Xia Siyu was so shocked that she dropped her towel. Her first instinct was to quickly tighten the bathrobe around her and cover her body. She then lifted her head and asked, “Why are you here?”

Bo Yan’s had comfortably crossed his long legs. He was holding the script in one hand, and a cup of red tea in another. When he heard her voice, he did not react. He did not even bother to turn around. He just lifted his cup and sipped before saying, “This is my home too. Why can’t I be here?”

Xia Siyu was very unaccustomed to being alone with him. When she heard him say that, she did not become relieved. “When did you come back?”

Bo Yan flipped a page of the script. Without turning back, he calmly replied, “When you were dead asleep in the bathtub.”

“…” Xia Siyu was stunned for a few seconds. She then exploded. In her fury, she could not even speak properly. “Bo Yan, aren’t you too shameless? Then didn’t you…”

Bo Yan finally placed his script down and turned around to look at her. His gaze was too indifferent as if he were looking at a piece of porcelain. “Which part of you have I not seen?”
