The ringing sound of her phone woke up Xia Siyu. Her eyes remained shut as she reached out her hand to search for the phone. In a hoarse voice, she then spoke, “Hello.”

“Siyu, it’s me, Jingjing. Are you at Qing Cheng Apartment Complex? I plan to go over to your previous apartment to get you some necessities.”

Xia Siyu agreed and turned over, her eyes remaining close.

“Regarding your house, I’ve reported it to Brother Qin. He said he couldn’t find any apartment with better security than the one in Qing Cheng Apartment Complex. If your friend doesn’t mind, you can continue staying there for a while more before you find a better house.”

Xia Siyu lazily nodded. “Okay.”

“We have an event in the afternoon. Prepare early, I’ll be here to pick you up later.”

“Okay.” Xia Siyu threw the phone away and buried her head in the blanket. She tossed and turned for a while on the bed before finally waking up due to the sounds coming outside the room. She thought Wei Jingjing was here. So she frowned a little and opened her eyes a little.

Obviously, she had not gotten enough sleep, and she thought she was in the old house. After slowly walking to the bathroom, she squeezed some toothpaste. He then peeked into her room and saw that everything was a disorderly mess. She had only stayed there for one day, but the house looked like it had undergone an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude. This was different from her appearance of a cute woman in the past.

The more he looked, the deeper he frowned.

Xia Siyu calmly followed his line of sight. She was not the least bit embarrassed about her disheveled look since ninety percent of women woke up in such an unkempt manner.
