Perhaps, she was scared that Bo Yan would snatch her food, so she ate fast and wolfed the entire food in a matter of seconds.

Seeing the unfinished Paris water that Bo Yan had yet to finish, she discreetly took it away. Then, she drank it straight from the bottle without even looking for a glass. The carbonated drink flowed from her mouth into her esophagus. The feeling of fullness was simply delightful.

Xia Siyu could not deny that even though Bo Yan was annoying, he had good culinary skills. Not everyone could perfect the skill of grilling the chicken till it was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, not to mention its juiciness.

She raised her eyes. On the other end of the table, Bo Yan was elegantly using a napkin to clean the sides of his mouth.

Then, he stood up and took all the plates into the kitchen for washing.

One had to pay for others’ kindness. Xia Siyu was embarrassed to have a free meal, so she stood up and carried her plate to the kitchen, intending to wash it.

Bo Yan did not stand on ceremonies either and pushed his plate to her, then walked out.

Xia Siyu had stayed with her mother overseas when she was young, so she was used to doing trivial chores like that.

By the time she was done with the washing, Bo Yan had made himself a big jug of coffee and poured himself a cup. He sipped it as he read his script. She glanced toward him and saw that half of the coffee in the just was still left. So, she unceremoniously took it.

Bo Yan continued to read the script on the sofa while Xia Siyu played with her phone, with a distance of two meters between them. Aside from the occasional flipping sound of the pages, the place was like a quiet and destitute wilderness.

Thankfully, not long after, Wei Jingjing came to Xia Siyu’s rescue. “I’ll be there in ten minutes. I have many things with me, so please come and fetch me.”

As Xia Siyu got up, Bo Yan also placed his script down. He had received a message from Song Fengzhi. “Brother Bo, I’m on the first floor, and the items have been packed.”

Both of them got up and walked toward their rooms. Once they were done changing, they went out to the lift together.

Xia Siyu noticed that Bo Yan had brought along a suitcase with him. It seemed he was going to travel overseas. Her gaze went to the coffee table, and she saw that the script was still on it, but she was too lazy to remind him. Anyway, it was not her business.

The duo was in the same lift. Bo Yan was on one side while she was on the other. No one said anything and tried to keep their distance.

The silence continued until a phone call broke it. “Is this Teacher Bo? I’m Fei Er.”

Perhaps the lift was too silent, but Xia Siyu could make out Shang Feier’s voice

Bo Yan nodded. “Yes.”

“I heard Director Wang’s *Thunderstorm’*s auditions have begun. Since you’re there, I want to give it a try.”

Xia Siyu turned his head to look at Bo Yan and remembered the script on the coffee table. She knew Thunderstorm; it was a film project by a famous director, Wang Ju. It had received widespread attention within the industry the moment it was released. Qin Baizhou had tried to help her contact him, but Wang Ju’s movie was never based on connections, and she did not expect Bo Yan to work with him either.

“You can contact him yourself.” Bo Yan spoke with his usual coolness.

“I heard that you can ‘offer some opinions,’ Teacher Bo. Please put in more good words for me when I audition.”

Xia Siyu could clearly hear Shang Feier’s slightly coquettish voice.

She did not expect the cold and arrogant Shang Feier to have this side!

Bo Yan frowned. Just when he was about to reject Shang Feier, a soft body suddenly edged toward him. It whispered lightly in his ear. “Darling, who are you talking to?”
