“Wow, you are back. Please come here and have a seat.” Li Yunhong said while she came out of the study. She was so hospitable that her attitude surprised everyone here.

“Yan, come here, oh… That’s very kind of you. You don’t need to buy presents for me. Come here whenever you want. Make yourself at home. You’re always welcome at our house. Just suit yourself. I heard that Xiangyan likes you very much. Come to me.” Li Yunhong quickly went downstairs from the second floor. She pulled Gu Yan’s arms and dragged her to the sofa. Li Yunhong took what in Gu Yan’ hands and handed that to the servant.

Li Yunhong held Gu Yan’s hands and sat on the sofa, touching her thin fingers with kindness, which surprised Mo Yichen and Xiangyan. Mo Yichen was so delightful for that. Actually, he was so worried about them and afraid that something unhappy would happen between them. It looked like he was overthinking it.

He knew that his mom cared about himself because she could understand the dilemma he was in. What she did was only for him. It was gratifying that his mom could get along well with Gu yan without any conflict.

Xiangyan was happy, too. He was relieved because his grandma’s attitude towards Aunt Gu changed a great deal. So, he just went to the garden, playing with golden retriever.

“Aunt, this is the gift I prepared for you. I specially chose this necklace for you. I heard that you like this kind of things, so I asked my friend to buy this limited edition for you. I hope you will like it.” Gu Yan pointed to the gift and tried her best to calm down.

Gu Yan thought, “What happens to Li Yunhong? How does her attitude change so quickly? Based on her behavior, it seems that she is not pretending. Has she figure out that I am not as vicious as she thought? Does she come to persuade herself to accept me?”
