Lu Weixi rubbed her eyes as if she thought that she did not see it clearly. She looked at it again and the words ‘transferred fifty thousand dollars’ were written clearly.

Turning around, she walked to the end of the corridor to call Qin Zhiyou.

The call redirected to the message bank, ‘the number you’ve dialed is not currently available. Please try again later.’

Lu Weixi also knew that he was at work now and most likely was very busy. She paused for a while and sent him a message, but he did not reply. When she called him again, his phone was still engaged.

With her brows furrowed, Lu Weixi thought for a while and directly called Secretary Wang. The phone was picked up after it rang for a while. On the other end, Secretary Wang was very polite and greeted her, “Madam.”

“What about tomorrow?”

“He isn’t free tomorrow either.”

Secretary Wang laughed bitterly. “Madam, why must you do this? CEO Qin will be free when’s free. When he’s busy, it’s hard to get a free moment. He’s going to be very busy lately, so you don’t have to call and find him. It will only inconvenience him.”

Lu Weixi held the phone and hesitated for a while before speaking softly, “If he’s angry about what I said earlier, I’ll apologize for that. I was just playing around with my friend and I’m not at all upset with him and I didn’t think of separating from him, nor was I thinking of taking something away from him.”
