Lu Weixi was dragged by him until she was walking in a staggered manner. As she had just caused a scene previously and there were outsiders around, she did not dare to retaliate too intensely and could only follow behind him.

Qin Zhiyou’s car was parked right outside and Secretary Wang had been waiting there. When he saw that Qin Zhiyou dragged Lu Weixi out, he was shocked and was about to say something, when Qin Zhiyou glared and hauled open the door to the passenger seat. Then, he shoved Lu Weixi into the car, slammed the door shut, while he went to the driver’s seat and slammed his foot on the accelerator.

The man’s hands held the steering wheel tightly and his lips were pressed against each other, as he stared straight in front, while the numbers on the speed meter continued to increase.

Lu Weixi knew that he was angry, furious even, so she did not say anything about drinking and driving, and her first instinct was to hurriedly fasten the safety belt.

His black Mercedes was like a phantom tearing down Yan City’s streets in the night, and it quickly turned into their villa. Qin Zhiyou suddenly pressed on the brakes and got off immediately when it stopped moving. Then he went to the passenger seat and dragged Lu Weixi out without a word.

When the people in the villa heard the commotion, they respectively came out to welcome them. They were all frightened when they saw Qin Zhiyou’s dark face and tight lips, as he hauled Lu Weixi along as if she was some branch in the wind.

It was still Lu Weixi, who was unwilling to accept their gazes of sympathy, and she forcefully said, “No need to worry about us. We’re fine.”

Qin Zhiyou dragged Lu Weixi all the way to the bedroom door and flung her inside, causing her to stagger backward and she habitually stopped by the bed. She knew what he was angry about. “I didn’t do anything with CEO Liu. There has never been such an incident in the past.”

Her working attitude was professional and she did not want anyone to misunderstand her.

Qin Zhiyou’s brows were still knitted very tightly and he did not give much of a reaction after hearing her words. He pulled her into the toilet, opened the cupboard, threw her towel and pajamas out, before shoving them to her. “Get in!”

She understood that he thought she was dirty for drinking with CEO Liu.

Even if Qin Zhiyou did not push her in, she wanted to bathe herself. After a quick shower, Qin Zhiyou was still standing outside the door when she opened the door.

She knew that men minded such matters very much. Even if they had a good time outside, they would definitely explode if their wives seemingly made them a cuckold.

With the recent few experiences fresh in her mind, Lu Weixi conveniently picked up the towel by the side and handed it to him. Qin Zhiyou was dazed, and his lower lips pressed against the upper one tightly. After half a day, his lips gradually curved up. “Very good. You’re very clever.”

She knew that this would make Qin Zhiyou happier and he would enjoy it even more, but she had also learned to protect herself.
