Zhao Zihui also smiled. “You don’t have to be too worried. Even if the lung cancer has shifted, we can still control the patient’s condition and extend her life with scientific treatment. Initially, I thought that you were rather burdened and I didn’t know if the medicine would be effective, so I didn’t recommend you to do such a costly treatment. However, she’s still your family member after all. If you didn’t do your best, you would regret it for the rest of your life. Not being able to show filial piety to your parents is the most bitter thing in the world.”

Lu Weixi looked at Zhao Zihui’s distant expression and asked casually, “Doctor Zhao, did you recall something? Is it related to your parents?”
