Mary Grimm quickly recovered from her shock as she asked in rage, “How dare you lie to us with such things?!”

So, with that said, Mary Grimm left the room!

Oliver Walker quickly called for her, “Mother….you should eat…”

These dishes had been specially made for them, but Mary Grimm didn’t even bother looking at them.

The atmosphere inside the room felt so cold that it was below freezing point.

Emilia held onto the invitations, and she looked skeptical as she stared at Oliver.

“Did you really think that you would be able to lie to us with these horrible tricks?

“Don’t you forget that if we can’t enter the auditorium tomorrow, all of your schemes would be exposed!”

Because of her mother’s words, she finally regained her senses!

In fact, this was a simple case that was placed right in front of her. Even an idiot would be able to tell what was going on.

Oliver then raised another question, “If we aren’t allowed to enter the auditorium, what’s the point of me doing all this?”

Emilia kept quiet!

That was true!

If these were fakes, why would Oliver Walker do all these? What were his intentions?

She could no longer tell the truth from the lies. Especially how he did not try to hide while she questioned him. He still looked sincere and was firm with his answer.
“We shall know tomorrow whether this is authentic.”

Oliver Walker looked at Olivia, who had been staring at him but didn’t dare to speak. Then, Oliver asked, “You aren’t even willing to give me one night’s time?”

He was filled with remorse.

Perhaps, Olivia already knew who he was.

But…he owed them too much. Even if Olivia called him ‘daddy’ right now, would he have the courage to answer her?

He could only wait until Olivia had fully recovered. Then, they could slowly find the right time to tell Olivia the truth after discussing it with his wife.

“The food’s getting cold!”

Oliver Walker said gently, “I’ll heat it up with the microwave!”

Emilia shook her head, “It’s fine. Just leave. I need some time to calm down!”

She was feeling lost! She did not know where to go!

She held onto the invitations, and she was torn. It felt as if she was deep inside a puddle of mud, and she couldn’t pull herself out of it.
