After arriving at the classroom, Tong Mo took the initiative to distribute the club application forms to every classmate.

Luo Mengmeng then slipped upstairs to find Gu Zhihan to ask which club he had signed up for.

Just as she reached the door, a male student from class one curiously looked at her, “Who are you looking for?”

“I’m looking for Gu Zhihan from your class,” Luo Mengmeng replied, stretching her neck to peer into their classroom.

The boy then turned to face the classroom and shouted toward Gu Zhihan, who was reading at his desk, “Class president, there’s a girl outside looking for you!”

The boy’s voice was loud, and instantly all the classmates turned their heads to look at Luo Mengmeng, whispering among themselves about what her relationship with Gu Zhihan was.

For a moment, Luo Mengmeng felt like a monkey in a zoo being observed by people.

Luo Mengmeng always had a thin skin in front of strangers, and she was already blushing intensely, her eyes earnestly looking at Gu Zhihan, hoping he would come over quickly.

“Why did you come here?” Gu Zhihan turned around and saw her, immediately putting down the classic in his hand and standing up to walk over to her.

Listening to his tone, Luo Mengmeng couldn’t help but pout, “What, aren’t you happy to see me?”

Gu Zhihan gave a gentle smile, his hand instinctively reaching out to pinch her cheek, “How could I not be happy to see you? I was just worried you’d be too tired climbing the stairs.”

“You always say the sweetest things!” Luo Mengmeng’s mood brightened in an instant, she cleared her throat and brought up the matter at hand, “So, which club did you sign up for?”

As the school advocated for comprehensive development in morals, intelligence, physique, aesthetics, and labor, it required every student, including those in the experimental class, to join a club.

“I haven’t signed up yet,” Gu Zhihan finished and then asked her, “What about you?”

“I signed up for the drama club, want to join together?” Luo Mengmeng flashed her clear, contrasting eyes. Even though it was a question, her tone carried a coaxing plea.

Faced with his little girlfriend’s request, Gu Zhihan certainly wouldn’t refuse.

“Sure.”

Upon hearing his agreement, Luo Mengmeng waved at him, “Then I’m heading back to the classroom first!”

“I’ll walk you.”

Gu Zhihan walked out of the classroom and followed her forward.

The students from class one watched dumbfounded as their aloof class president smiled warmly, escorting a girl downstairs. They couldn’t help but rub their eyes, wondering if they were hallucinating.

The intimidating class president was actually smiling and talking with a girl?

And even escorting her downstairs?

“Damn, what’s the relationship between that girl and Gu Zhihan?”

“I have no idea…”

“Anyway, it looks close; could she be his girlfriend?”

“But I haven’t heard anything about our class president having a girlfriend!”

“It could be his sister!”

Gu Zhihan had no idea that his class had erupted into a frenzy over him and Luo Mengmeng.

The boy speculated.

He quite liked the girl he just saw and, if possible, he wanted the class president to introduce him.

A faint smirk tugged at Gu Zhihan’s lips, and he admitted directly, “She’s my girlfriend.”
