Chapter 190 A Hidden Space

There were not a lot of cars in Aren’s garage, but they nonetheless amounted to more than 1 billion. The car that Luke was driving was the cheapest of all the cars, so its parking spot was located in the most remote corner.

When Luke stopped the car and went to the trunk, Miles, who had been in the car for God knows how long, subconsciously trembled when he heard the footsteps of the leather shoes coming into contact with the floor.

The fear of uncertainty made Miles quickly curl up his body, wanting to hide himself in the darkness.

Because Aren intentionally didn’t keep his voice down, so Miles heard it loud and clear. The approaching footsteps were like a rope on a gallows to him, something he needed to avoid.

However, there were some things that couldn’t be avoided just because one wanted to. The space in the trunk was only so large, and Miles had nowhere to hide.

Luke opened the trunk and saw Miles’s terrified eyes.

The man, who was almost two meters tall, looked at Luke pleadingly. Tears trickled down from his dusty face, making him look especially miserable.

Miles wanted to live, he didn’t want to die!

“Stop staying in the trunk, you lazy ass. Come on out.”

Hearing Luke’s voice, Miles felt like he had no intention of killing him, and his worry dissipated somewhat.

He moved his numb body and slowly crawled out of the trunk and stood in front of Luke.

However, Luke didn’t intend to untie Miles. He turned around and walked on, telling Miles, “Follow me closely. Don’t think about escaping from here.”

As Luke spoke, he brought him to an empty hall painted in white. When Luke pressed his hand on the wall, it split open to reveal a path inside.

Luke walked in and said to Miles, who was still standing outside the door and was about to escape, “Do you want to walk in by yourself or do you want me to drag you in?”

This was a blatant threat, but at this moment, Miles knew that he had no choice. Although he felt extremely uneasy, he couldn’t only abide and follow Luke into the dreadful corridor.

The moment he walked into the corridor, the wall closed. The bright and dazzling white light, together with the empty space where there was no sound other than footsteps, and the wall and ground that were all white made Miles feel cold and suffocated.

The increasing fear made Miles slow down his pace more and more. When Luke stood in front of a door, Miles, who was three steps away from him, stopped completely.

“Do you want me to drag you?”

Luke took off the glasses that he had been wearing and put them on his clothes. At the same time, a pair of black gloves appeared on his hand.

The change in Luke was so obvious that Miles could instantly sense his killing intent. His pupils contracted, and he quickly took a step back.

Then, as if he had encountered a predator, Miles quickly turned around and ran back the way he came.

Looking at the hair in his hand, Luke showed a look of disdain. He looked at Miles, who was kneeling on the ground with his back facing him, and threw away the hair in his hand.

This time, Luke grabbed Miles by the collar and dragged him toward the room like a dead dog. Miles’s struggle was futile under the iron-like arm.

The door opened and shut automatically.

It was a room filled with torture instruments. The walls of the room were covered in dark mottled marks from dried blood. The moment he entered, Miles could smell death.

Luke suddenly tore off the tape that was stuck to Miles’s mouth.
