Chapter 799: Chapter 632 You’re So Cheap
In an instant, the entirety of Qinglu Mountain trembled, dense spiritual energy penetrating the heavens and earth. Behind Sword Master Funiu, besides the beast claw, three other cursed items appeared simultaneously.
These three items fused into the bodies of Miyanori Chiyoko and the others. The spiritual energy within their bodies began to transform, and their powerful aura became almost impossible to suppress.
“Kitagawa…” Miyanori Chiyoko glanced at Sword Master Funiu and couldn’t help but speak.
If this enhancement continued to escalate, it wouldn’t take long for the abundant bloodline power to completely erupt. By then, they would no longer be able to conceal the secrets of their guardian spirits and bloodline.
The bloodline of the Atlas Great Bear would once again manifest in the world.
“It’s alright.”
“There’s no need to hide anymore.”
Sword Master Funiu let out a sigh. Kitagawa was his surname. Miyanori Chiyoko addressed him this way only in the most tense of moments.
“Yes, there’s no need anymore.”
Recalling the giant dragon he had seen in the Different Space, Sword Master Funiu’s mood grew heavy. Compared to the crisis brought by such an existence, what stood before him now seemed trivial.
“Let’s do this together!”
Stepping forward boldly, his towering body seemed capable of moving mountains and filling seas.
“Roar out with the wrath of Atlas!!”
With each step forward, the power within Sword Master Funiu grew stronger. As his bloodline surged, the three figures behind him also began to transform.
Saito Tsuyoshi’s already towering figure swelled even further, his loose clothing tearing at the seams. A metallic sheen seemed to radiate from his skin.
With each breath, it was as though the rumble of thunder rolled within him.
While Ishida Minami’s transformation was less pronounced, his characteristically calm demeanor now gave way to rare excitement.
They had endured silence for too long, suppressing even their natural instincts.
Atlas Great Bears excelled in defense, but their strength was also unmatched. In the Western World, their bloodline’s potential was evident in the fact that even Dragonborn considered them primary targets.
Yet after arriving here, for survival, they were forced to suppress their innate bloodline instincts, using special techniques to convert their bloodline power into energy akin to spiritual energy.
Even their guardian spirits were disguised to resemble Fu Niu.
The raging bears had been reduced to docile oxen. But now, as their suppressed bloodline power erupted, it became utterly uncontrollable.
The four of them merged their bloodline powers together. At the summit of Qinglu Mountain, an ancient behemoth formed entirely of spiritual energy materialized out of thin air.
The beast’s roars reverberated from the mountain peak, its sound waves rumbling and rolling, carrying all the way to the cities at the mountain’s base.
“This isn’t spiritual energy!!”
“This power… You’re from the West?”
Ran’ei Divine Master exclaimed in shock, comprehending much in an instant.
“Outsiders, you’re outsiders from the West!”
“Don’t think that unleashing your true strength means you can stand against us.”
The gaze of Ran’ei Divine Master swept over Sword Master Funiu and his companions.
“Only you barely reach the level of a Sword Master. As for the other three, even with their power boost, they’re still unworthy.”
Behind Ran’ei Divine Master appeared a pair of spectral wings, the image of a Crow Tengu. The other two figures beside him stood ready for battle.
At this moment, however, the momentum emanating from Sword Master Funiu and the others continued to rise. The Onmyoji Array that shrouded Qinglu Mountain constantly influenced the surrounding environment.
The changes brought by this power were all-encompassing, affecting not only the four of them but also the other disciples of the Sword Pavilion standing atop the mountain.
Gradually, the deliberately concealed bloodlines were activated. This power flowed into the Onmyoji Array, then transformed and enhanced Sword Master Funiu and the others.
Their bloodlines were interconnected.
At this moment, no explanation was needed–everyone understood that every word Red Sparrow had spoken earlier was true.
With a faint smirk at the corner of her lips, Red Sparrow knew her objective had been achieved. Even if Sword Master Funiu and his companions could fend off the invasion of the Tengu Shrine…
…the Funiu Sword Pavilion would still be doomed to collapse afterward.
Qinglu Mountain would disintegrate from within.
Roar!
The phantom of the Atlas Great Bear let out an earth-shattering roar. Its fused bloodline and spiritual energy gave it the appearance of an entity made real. It raised an enormous, sky-obscuring paw and slammed it down toward Ran’ei Divine Master and his comrades.
It wasn’t about techniques–it was sheer, overwhelming power.
The space trembled. Even before the paw struck, the surrounding buildings were flattened. Miyanori Chiyoko and the others felt an unprecedented surge of strength.
Standing behind Sword Master Funiu, they poured their power into him without reservation. She even felt an illusion as if no mountain standing before them could resist being flattened and blown away!
Yet in the next moment, the ferocity of the Atlas Great Bear met its end. Just as the bear’s paw plummeted, the bodies of Ran’ei Divine Master and his two allies vanished inexplicably.
When they reappeared, they had evaded the Great Bear’s attack and stood atop the very paw that had sought to crush them.
Ran’ei Divine Master stood at the forefront, with the White Wolf Tengu behind him and the Yamabushi Tengu bringing up the rear.
“Who would’ve thought that a group of rabble combining their strength could unleash power of this magnitude,” said Ran’ei Divine Master with a sigh.
“What a pity…”
Before he could finish, the Yamabushi Tengu at the rear stepped forward, followed closely by the White Wolf Tengu.
A bizarre scene unfolded. The other two Divine Masters, along with their power and bodies, fused completely into Ran’ei Divine Master!
A shadow ascended skyward–a Crow Tengu that had entirely transformed in form.
It was as though the three had merged into one.
