“But you don’t even know him, how can you just decide to be together with him. I know you’re thoughtful, but it’s not a game, Little Yun, listen to your master.” Yang Le took Ling Yun’s hand and said quietly.

Yang Le knew that it’s going to be a lifelong suffering if she were to get married to someone that she didn’t love. She too was once a peerless beauty and a prodigy, there were even famous Hierarchs who fell in love with her, yet she was unfazed, loving only Ling Yanyu who was only a Half-Step Divine King back then.

“You… sigh!” Ling Yanyu sighed and left.

“Child, why…?” Yang Le grabbed Ling Yun’s hand tightly with tears in her eyes.

She viewed Ling Yun as the same as her husband. However, this marriage proposal had caused the whole Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect to be struck with such unrest. It was ironic that he couldn’t even protect their own child, what use does the name of the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect have?

“Shi Niang (Master’s wife), sometimes we must not live just for ourselves. I am not going into the depths of hell, just marrying into the Blood Tool Sect. “We all support Elder Chu.”

“Hahaha, you’re right! This Ling Yanyu is obviously cocky, does his Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect plan to face all of us?”

Every elder’s eyes were smiling as they observed the situation silently. They hoped to see the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect and Blood Tool Sect fight. Then, they’d get what they want, they’d be able to observe how powerful the Blood Tool Sect actually was. These fellas had plans of their own, but for now, they’re stood on the Blood Tool Sect’s side.

“Let me see what Ling Yanyu has prepared. This Chu Wang is not afraid. Hmph, let’s go.” Chu Wang said with a dark expression.

This was the biggest insult his Blood Tool Sect had suffered, how could he not be angered? Still, they’re not here to pressure the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect today, they were here for the marriage proposal. He hoped not to clash today, as long Ling Yanyu accepted the proposal, this meant that the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect had bowed down.

The ten great elders once again entered the great hall. Ling Yanyu stood with his arms crossed with his back facing the crowd with pride.

“Lord Ling must be clear on why I’ve come today. I wonder what the verdict is?” Chu Wang squinted his eyes and said.

“This old one agrees to the marriage between the Blood Tool Sect and the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect.” Ling Yanyu said.

Everyone’s expression changed. To think this old fart really accepted it?! They all knew that Ling Yanyu was a stubborn man. He would not bow down to anyone, not even the Divine Golem Sect and the Qi Transformation Sect’s Lord could persuade him to do anything. However, he accepted the offer, this meant that he had thoroughly accepted it. The Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect finally bowed down to the Blood Tool Sect.

Chu Wang’s eyes brightened and his lips curved into a giant smile.

He was waiting for Ling Yanyu to say those words. The marriage was just a small matter, their goal was to merge  the two sects. The future of the Tian Xing Boundary would surely change!

However, the Blood Tool Sect still had a long way to go to become the number one sect of the Tian Xing Boundary. Since their resources and history could not compare against the Earthly Fire Heavenly Lightning Sect, Divine Golem Sect and Qi Transformation Sect. They were sects that have been around for countless years, it was not something that could be overcome by just any sect in a single-go.

Ling Yanyu’s eyes became cold as he turned and stared at Chu Wang.
