Chapter 45: Chapter 45: A Scoundrel Amongst Scoundrels

A few seconds later, Su Xiangwan spoke again, “Er Bing come here, come to sister.”

Er Bing immediately dashed towards Su Xiangwan, with a little tendency of recklessness.

Mu Beiting’s face darkened even more, the temperature around him grew colder, this caused Su Xiangwan to shiver.

Er Bing was halfway across when he came to a sudden stop, he turned to look at Mu Beiting, a little hesitant.

“Er Bing, come here! I’ll give you extra food tonight,” Su Xiangwan warmly said, continuously enticing the snow-white Samoyed in front of her.

“Don’t you dare!” Mu Beiting spoke in a deep voice and Er Bing immediately stopped in his tracks once again.

He looked left, and then looked right. The hard-to-decide Mr. Er Bing drooped his head and jumped on the couch. He covered his face with his huge tail and pretended he didn’t hear anything.

“Er Bing, come to sister…”

“‘General’, come back.”

In that instant, Mr. Er Bing’s temper rose. He lay motionless on the sofa, pretending to be a snow-white blanket, stingily refusing to even show his face.

You know, I’m a dog with a temper too…

Although Su Xiangwan was a little unwilling to give up, she knew Mu Beiting was Er Bing’s real owner. So thinking about this result, she was still satisfied.

“Mu Beiting, how about this? From Monday to Friday he belongs to you, on the weekends, he’s mine, this way it’s fair,” Su Xiangwan said shamelessly, wanting to win some sovereignty no matter what.

Mu Beiting glanced at her then his gaze fell on Er Bing.

A few seconds later, the air around him grew cold and became a little gloomy. His thin lips opened, “If you don’t come here right now, I’ll turn you into stew tonight.”

“Woof~!”

As soon as he finished talking, Mr. Er Bing flew down from the sofa without a beat and sat by Mu Beiting’s feet obediently.

Su Xiangwan’s small mouth fell open, she was a bit flustered. “Mu Beiting! You scoundrel!”

After seeing that Er Bing still knew his place, Mu Beiting’s face eased a bit. “You can try as well.”

Unwilling to give up, Su Xiangwan spoke again, “Er Bing, he wants to turn you into stew and you still follow him. Come here to me.”

Er Bing shook his head without moving, as if he could actually understand what she meant.

“If you don’t come here I’ll turn you into stew tonight as well!”

Er Bing still wouldn’t move, as if he had made up his mind to stay on Mu Beiting’s side.

Su Xiangwan rambled on for another few minutes, threatening and luring him. But this time, Er Bing refused to bulge, staying firmly by Mu Beiting’s feet, not even moving towards Su Xiangwan at all.

Su Xiangwan sighed, fine, she didn’t blame Er Bing either, sometimes she feared the man in front of her as well.

Rolling her eyes at Mu Beiting, she said softly, “Fine, he really is your dog, you guys can go now.”

Turning around, she was still reluctant to part with him, she couldn’t help but add another sentence, “Take care of him…”

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow, but didn’t have even the slightest intention of leaving. After proving Er Bing’s ownership, he sat on the sofa and spoke again, “Now, let’s talk about the debt.”

Su Xiangwan froze. “Debt… what debt?”

Mu Beiting’s eyes were deep, he opened his thin lips. “The collar around ‘General’s’ neck along with the diamond cost 6.35 million. Now, ‘General’ appeared at your place, but the collar disappeared, shouldn’t I ask you for an explanation?”

Su Xiangwan was dumbstruck. She had thought that she was enough of a scoundrel already, but she didn’t expect Mu Beiting to be a scoundrel amongst scoundrels.

She was the one who saved Er Bing, and yet, he’s actually asking her for compensation!
