Chapter 22: Brother and Sister Meet

“Mommy, you can’t blame Sister Ting Yu this time. It’s just that Sister is a little mischievous and greedy. Don’t blame Sister Ting Yu. Of course, don’t blame Sister either, okay?”

Le Yu looked at Le Lin and gently pinched his little face. “Is Mommy that fierce?”

“That’s great! I said that Mommy is the best person in the world!” Le Lin took her hand and shook it happily.

Le Yu had a false alarm, but when Li Feng returned to the venue, Kyra was nowhere to be found. After asking the waiter, he found out that the woman had answered a phone call and left in a hurry.

After the auction ended, Li Feng sat in the car and stared at the well-packaged painting beside him for a long time before he said, “Let’s go back,”

The two babies stuck to Le Yu for the whole night. When they left the hospital with Le Ning the next day at noon, they even wanted to follow Le Yu to her workplace. Le Yu looked at Le Ning helplessly. This little baby was particularly clingy when she was sick.

“Mommy, Ning Ning can’t be separated from you.” Le Ning blinked her big watery eyes and stared at Le Yu.

Fortunately, today was Saturday, so Le Yu did not have to report to the research institute. However, she still had to go to the Li family to see Li Bei.

“Then you have to promise Mommy to be obedient,” said Le Yu.

Le Ning raised her little hand. “I promise. I want to see my brother too.”

Le Lin looked at her with a worried expression. “Mommy, what about me? Can’t I go with you?”

“Oh right, Brother will expose us.”

Le Yu looked at the two clingy little ones and said helplessly, “Lin Lin, stay at home. Ning Ning is sick, so Mommy will look after her.”

Butler Li looked at Le Yu as she walked in holding Le Ning’s hand. He was somewhat touched by the child’s cuteness. “Is this Miss Kyra’s baby? She’s so cute.”

Ning Ning looked at him and smiled. “Hello, Uncle. I’m Ning Ning.”

Butler Li smiled warmly. “I didn’t expect Miss Kyra’s child to be so big.” Over the past few days, seeing how she interacted with the Young Master and the Master’s reaction, Butler Li thought that there were some different sparks between them.

The position of the Li family’s Madam had been empty for too long, and he was also a little worried for Master.

Le Yu was unaware of his worries. Le Yu said, “There’s no need to entertain us, I’ll go over by myself.”

Looking around at the quiet environment, she asked again, “Is the Commander not here?”

“Oh, the Master is out for work.”

Le Yu smiled but said nothing. If she had known that Li Feng wasn’t here, she would have brought Le Lin along. That little guy was a little unhappy.

She knocked on the door of Li Bei’s room, and the door immediately opened. Le Yu did not expect the door to open so quickly today. She smiled and squatted down to look at him. “What is my darling Bei Bei doing? I’ve brought you a little sister today. Her name is Ning Ning. You two must get along well.”

When Li Bei saw Le Yu, his eyes were bright. But when he saw Le Yu holding Le Ning’s hand, the intimate atmosphere between them stunned Li Bei. So, this woman already had another child?

“She’s your daughter?” Li Bei asked.

Le Yu was about to nod when Princess Ning Ning saw her brother, whom she ‘missed’ all day long. She let go of Le Yu’s hand and rushed to hug Li Bei.

Her sweet voice called Li Bei ‘Brother’ a few times, and she hugged him tightly, not letting go.

Le Yu looked at them with a gentle smile on her face. Li Bei was not in good health and did not have any friends of the same age. His personality was a little unsociable and cold. If only he could be compared with Ning Ning.

Li Bei was a little shocked by Le Ning’s enthusiasm. The little girl’s face was like a blooming flower, bright and brilliant. Li Bei suddenly felt that she was very cute, which was a little strange.

“Brother, Ning Ning is here to see you. Are you feeling better? Mommy’s been worried about you at night recently. It’s so late and she wasn’t sleeping.”

Li Bei looked at her and then turned to Le Yu. “Why are you here so early today?”

Le Yu smiled and touched his head. “I have something important to do today.” She had to investigate Li Bei’s food and living conditions in the Li family to see who was behind the scenes harming her son.

She asked Butler Li to call the chef who was usually in charge of Li Bei’s food over. Le Yu glanced at Li Bei, who was playing with building blocks with Le Ning, and said, “Give me a list of the things you usually cook for Bei Bei.”

She looked at the chef with cold eyes. “You’d better be smart. Don’t try to play any tricks on me.”
