I wracked my lacking brain.

In all honesty, the suspicion of Kengo Ohashi’s two-timing has been confirmed.

From his own mouth, he said, “Shizuku, you’re really the right woman for a man like me,” and “Shizuku Natsukawa is a good woman who can make such a man her boyfriend!” It was no wonder.

Besides, I got a lot of stares. The aura of “stay away from Natsukawa-san” wasn’t exactly humbling.

I’m not sure I can honestly say that, though…

When I was thinking about it,

“Eh…?”

Izumi-san’s complexion clearly deteriorated as she checked her cell phone.

I knew it was something out of the ordinary, so I took a look at her cell phone, knowing that it was a breach of my manners.

There was a message from Kengo Ohashi.

[I have something important to tell you. Can you meet me now?]

My heart leapt when I saw it.

–something important to tell you.

T-This is bad! At any rate, this is out of my league.

Because this message means…

“…I’m going to get dumped… I hate it… I don’t want to break up~~~!!”

Izumi-san burst into tears as if a dam had collapsed.

Unable to control her emotions, she breathes bitterly, “Ugh…ugh…huu…”

It’s not surprising that this would happen just because of the conclusion implied by the message.

All I could do was rub Izumi-san’s back as she began to hyperventilate and wait in silence for her to calm down.

I really am helpless at times like this. All I can do is not leave her side.

It’s often said that a bad premonition is more likely to come true rather than a good one.

I ran around the city until my whole body was hot, and what awaited me was a cruel reality.

My girlfriend, Tenshi Izumi, was hanging on to Komori, crying, “…I’m going to get dumped… I hate it… I don’t want to break up~~~!!”

The sight was too shocking for me to do anything but stand there.

How long has Komori and Tenshi been dating? Where was the point of contact? Why is Komori trying to dump Tenshi?

All that comes to mind are questions. The more I think about it, the deeper the mystery becomes.

But the one that really caught me off guard was,

Shota Komori has been two-timing Mayuka Takamine and Tenshi Izumi, and–

–Tenshi Izumi has been two-timing Shota Komori and Kengo Ohashi, me!

…Maybe I’ve had a terrible misunderstanding.

In the back of my mind, I thought Komori was a featureless man. Subconsciously, I had looked down on him.

But maybe this guy has a charm that attracts women that I, as a man, can’t understand.

It would be strange if he didn’t!

His girlfriend, Mayuka Takamine, is also a beautiful girl without a doubt. She’s probably an upper-class riajuu girl.

The reality is that she’s Komori’s lover. Even Shizuku Natsukawa, my sister, has been charmed.

Furthermore, even Tenshi seems to be clinging to him as if she can’t live without him.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that she’s so in love with him that she can’t control her emotions… I hope it’s an exaggeration, though!

But even I’ve never seen such an emotional outburst from Tenshi before!

Damn, what in the world is going on–?!

To be honest, I want to come in between Komori and Tenshi right now and get it all straightened out!

But it seems I’m a weak man after all. My legs are shaking and I can’t take a single step forward.

I know I’ve made fun of my sister a lot in the past, but it seems that love can change a person. In both good and bad ways.

Some are blind and foolish, others burn themselves out with jealousy. Even some turn away in cowardice…

Apparently, I’m the last type.

I’m so scared of being told it’s over. My fear outweighs my courage to step in.

So I decided on a plan.

It’s a very shameless plan. So much so that even I didn’t think I was this small of a man.

But I’ll surely make this plan a success. For the sake of myself–
