A familiar voice came from behind her. “Ji Liunian, how dare you?!”

In the next second, an angry figure rushed over from the door. “Ji Liunian, you…”

Before he could finish his sentence, he suddenly paused. His handsome eyebrows were slightly furrowed as he stood rooted to the ground.

Her heart skipped a beat. After finding her balance, she reached out and placed her hand on his chest, wanting to push him away. “Let go of me!”

Yu Yichen did not move. His gaze moved down slightly. When he saw the faint bruises on her bare shoulders, he frowned inexplicably.

He reached out and pinched her chin, forcing her to look up. His eyes narrowed dangerously. “What did you do yesterday?”

Although his tone was domineering, it was the only time since they got engaged that he seemed to be “concerned” about her!

Seeing his gaze on her, she lightly brushed his hand away. “It’s none of your concern.”
