Kotal glanced at the entrance of the building from a distance and quietly asked, “Shall we go in and take a look?”

“Mm, no rush. Let’s wait for the others.”

Fang Heng felt a sense of caution and unease toward the temple. As he spoke, he flipped through the stone slab in his hand.

There were no new updates from the undead council either.

It seemed they, too, had no clear understanding of what this structure was or what its purpose might be.

He decided that it would be safer to enter together once Commander Tigranth and his team arrived, rather than Fang Heng going in alone and risking anything.

Kotal nodded in agreement, and the two of them waited in place.

It took over half an hour before Commander Tigranth led his team, having cleared the surrounding Ice Crystal Golems, and gathered with Fang Heng’s group.

Kotal quietly explained what he had just discovered.

The group looked toward the building with a sense of curiosity.

“We don’t have much time to stay here. We won’t discover anything more by lingering outside, so let’s go in and see if we can find some clues,” Tigranth quickly decided, signaling Fang Heng and Kotal to follow the team as he led them toward the building.

The group ascended the white stone steps leading to the Great Hall and entered.

The temple felt completely safe, with no immediate danger.

Even after entering the temple, the cold aura from the outside quickly dissipated by more than half.

Fang Heng and the others were now able to clearly see the interior of the temple.

The walls of the temple were adorned with dark red gemstones, and the interior was furnished with several altars. In the center of the hall stood a stone statue—a statue of a god.

Kotal quickly translated for the group, then asked, “Shall we go in and check?”

“Naturally.”

After all the effort it took to reach this place, and having found a clue related to Empress Persephone, they couldn’t afford to ignore it now. It was an opportunity too valuable to pass up.

Tigranth nodded, making arrangements, “We’ll go first. You two wait here by the passage. If everything checks out, we’ll return.”

“Understood.”

Tigranth, along with two of his subordinates, entered the teleportation passage.
