“Good.” Pang Li was quite pleased with Fang Heng’s response and gave his instructions, “Now, take a batch of mechanical units to reinforce Secotr A3. I need you to ensure the absolute safety of Sector A3. Can you do that?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll provide you with 20 maintenance andriods.”

Pang Li appreciated Fang Heng’s straightforward attitude and, with a wave of his hand, transferred control of the maintenance andriods to Fang Heng. He said, “I’ll be overseeing the maintenance in Sector B. Sector A3 is in your hands. If you need anything, come find me in Sector B.”

“Understood.”

Fang Heng nodded and signaled to Zaka, then led the 20 maintenance andriods to Sector A3.

Pang Li watched them leave and thought to himself. Normally, assigning such an important task to mercenaries would violate security protocols, but given the urgency of the situation, and since the task in Sector A3 was just reinforcement work, it should be fine.

“Notting, you’re in charge of Sector A6. I’ll give you 20 maintenance andriods.” Pang Li continued with his arrangements without further thought. “Jack, you’re in charge of A12…”

Meanwhile, Fang Heng and Zaka followed the map and entered Sector A3.

The ship’s hatch closed automatically behind them.

The 20 maintenance andriods gathered around the two of them.

Zaka looked at Fang Heng.

“Mr. Fang, what’s our next step?”

“I’ll go into the sealed-off area of the rear cabin to take a look. You stay outside and provide cover for me.”

Fang Heng walked over to a wall made of alloy metal on the right side of the ship and placed his hand on it, testing the surface.

It didn’t work. The wall had a special spatial defense, and spatial energy couldn’t penetrate it.

Fang Heng then tried tapping on the wall lightly.

The metallic wall made a brittle thudding sound.

He quickly sensed intruders. From further down the passage, several brown worm-like bodies crawled out.

Fang Heng gave them a cold glance.

They were small, only the size of his palm.

They were likely larvae.

It seemed that in the low-temperature environment, the mutant worms hadn’t completely gone into hibernation mode, but their activity had been drastically reduced.
