Without Fang Heng, the Western District Federation lost the ability to complete high-tier missions.

The Star Map was still under construction, but progress was slow.

In fact, the Western District Federation didn’t really want the Star Map to be completed too quickly–they had been deliberately dragging things out.

Without the assistance of Fang Heng and Charlene, the Western District Federation’s ability to gain experience points had significantly declined.

Captain Gisele stood up and glanced around at everyone.

“Everyone, the mission will begin in ten minutes. Get ready.”

Two days earlier, Captain Gisele had accepted an urgent mission issued by the spawn system.

It was a mission related to the Seed of Ouroboros.

Its difficulty level was SSS–the highest.

Under normal circumstances, neither Captain Gisele nor the Western District Federation would have been willing to take on such a high-risk mission.

But this mission was a bit different–it was more of a support-type mission, and several factions were participating simultaneously.

The Western District Federation thought they could tag along and maybe get lucky.

Who knew? They might even find the Seed of Ouroboros.

At the very least, they could meet with other allied forces of the spawns, try to build relationships, gain experience fighting alongside allies, and broaden their horizons.

Therefore, the Federation assembled an accompanying observation group to join the fleet on the mission.

Among them was even a team of experts from the Presidential Palace, much to Captain Gisele’s displeasure.

“Prepare for departure.”

With the roar of seven ships, pale white light spots enveloped the ships, which then entered transition mode one after another.

Half an hour later, the human fleet emerged from the transition passage.

Captain Gisele’s Western District Federation fleet arrived side by side at the battlefield.

Through the ship’s barrier, they saw a vast expanse of red creep-covered terrain, shrouded in disaster. Scattered across the creep were countless lower-tier insect nests, like scars on a diseased body.

Captain Gisele looked grim.

The strength of the SSS-level insect nest was truly terrifying. Lower-tier nests were everywhere, and the Western District Federation had never faced such a harsh environment before.

Given the current strength level of their fleet, they could probably only handle the periphery and deal with the lower-tier nests at best.

The senior officials from various departments of the Federation were gathered in the control room of the main starship, observing the situation.

Besides monitoring the swarm, they were also watching the Spawn Alliance.

The power gap was huge.

Allied fleets from other factions were organized in groups of dozens of ships, many of which were giant-sized.

In comparison, the Western District Federation’s strength was barely worth mentioning.

The ships entered battle mode. Cannons mounted on the ships began to deploy, coordinating their attacks on the swarm.

Meanwhile, the observation team quietly studied the other races’ warships.

Generally speaking, most species relied on spawn-class ships in battle.

However, the ships differed in form and quality. Most had undergone racial-specific modifications, such as anti-magic shells, space barriers, condensed space cannons, and other unconventional defensive systems and artifact-grade weapons.

By comparison, their own ships looked pitiful.

They were pure spawn-manufactured models, with almost no custom modifications.

“Beep, beep…”

A soft sound came from the control hall.

“A message from a spawn-affiliated alien fleet located behind us. We’re attempting to decode it…”

After a moment, once decoding was complete, the researcher looked at the translated message on the screen and frowned.

Captain Gisele asked, “What did it say?”

“They told us to move to the rear right and stay out of their way. They don’t want us wandering in the main war zone and messing up their deployment. They told us to get lost.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

A staff member swallowed hard and softly said, “The Shadow Clan, the leader of the allied forces, has already launched a coordinated assault on the central SSS-level insect nest. Each fleet has been assigned specific zones to attack. We weren’t invited to join the strategic planning…”

Captain Gisele’s face darkened.

“Captain, if we don’t move, they’ll run us over…”

“Bang!!!”

Captain Gisele slammed his fist on the ship’s table in anger and gritted his teeth.

“Evade to the rear right zone.”

D*mn it!

They had been too naive.

In a world governed by the law of the jungle, none of the spawn-allied forces saw them as equals.

Only strength commanded respect.

It was all because of the idiots from the Federation’s Inspection Department and the Presidential Palace!

If either Fang Heng or Charlene were here, they wouldn’t be in such a weak position.

“Forget those barbaric aliens. Let’s just follow the procedure. There’s a gap between us and the high-tier spawn allies right now, but that’s nothing to be afraid of. Give us time–we’ll catch up.”

In the observation group, Vionne, a member of the Presidential Palace’s expert team, tried to save face.

“Let’s fall back for now and avoid conflict with the allied forces.”

The Western District Federation’s seven ships slowly retreated to the rear-right, avoiding the alien fleet.

Just then, flashes of light began appearing in the forward-left zone.

The flickering lights quickly formed a wave.

It was an interstellar fleet!

Judging by the intensity of the transition beams, another alien fleet had just arrived at the battlefield.

Looking toward the center, a fleet of over 90 ships entered the field.

Their high-tier energy beam weapons were activated instantly, unleashing a concentrated barrage on the swarm ahead.

Through the windows, the Federation soldiers watched the fierce battle outside with a hint of envy.

The firepower of large fleets was on a completely different level compared to their small team.

When would they be able to build such a massive fleet of their own?

Ten years?

Or twenty?
