Chapter 57: A Beast In Gentleman’s Clothing

Ji Anan tried to seize the chance to escape, but a huge hand grabbed her ankle.

Beiming Yechen had only glanced at Ji Anan, but his eyes immediately stopped on her. His pure and innocent eyes were twinkling.

The feathers on her gown accentuated her smooth ivory skin, which looked like it was snow.

Beiming Yechen was so shell-shocked he nearly tumbled down the stairs, and there was a dramatic expression on his face.

“…My lord, is that the hotter version of Ji Anan?”

The expression on Ji Anan’s face changed drastically. Had he gone blind?

“Young Master, the old man wants to see you.” Nanny Porti walked down the stairs with an anxious expression on her face.

Beiming Shaoxi paused for a bit, but he continued to stare into Ji Anan’s eyes deeply. There was overbearing passion in his eyes. “Wait for me.”

Ji Anan rolled her eyes and blew at her bangs furiously. “Get lost!”

“I have some things to say to you.” He flicked her bangs.

There was something mysterious in his soulful eyes, as if he knew the deepest secret in her heart.

Ji Anan quickly turned her face away in fear, but she couldn’t help but tremble. Why did she have the feeling that he recognized her? Perhaps she was simply overthinking it…

Beiming Shaoxi wasn’t picky, and since he was willing to have sexual relations with someone that looked like “Ji Anan,” it was only natural that he would have been attracted to Su Qianmo earlier!

“You… What do you have to say to me?”

“You’ll find out soon.” The expression in his eyes was unreadable.

Ji Anan felt the tension in her chest while she watched him leave from behind.

‘Damn cold-hearted jerk, it’s enough that you’re cheating on me behind my back, but you’re so blind that you brought me home to cheat on myself,’ she thought, fuming.

She couldn’t stay any longer, or it would simply be a matter of time before her true identity was exposed!

Beiming Yechan suddenly grabbed her arm.

Ji Anan was dragged out of the manor like a little chicken and tucked into a car.

“Marrying into the Beiming family isn’t as easy as you think. My brother already has a wife. I’m taking you home.”

Upon hearing this, Ji Anan burst out in laughter. He didn’t recognize her… and leaving was exactly what she wanted to do!

Had it not been for his timely appearance, she probably would have been devoured by Beiming Shaoxi as her true identity, Su Qianmo!

Even though she’d had sexual relations with him many times already, the idea of being intimate with him while being mistaken for someone else made her uncomfortable. That night, she was able to clearly see his true colors as an animal in gentleman’s clothing!

Beiming Yechen buckled her up with a solemn expression on his face. “The line of women chasing after my brother goes all the way to the curb. No matter how hard you try to get closer to him, you’ll always be a mistress.”

Ji Anan played with her hair and asked flirtatiously, “You have no eyes. Don’t you think I’m gorgeous?”

“Nowhere near good enough for my brother.”

Ji Anan was unconvinced. “Then what type of woman would be good enough for your brother?”

What a joke! How could she not be good enough for Beiming Shaoxi?! How could she, Su Qianmo, be anyone’s disposable mistress?!

Beiming Yechen stared straight ahead as he drove. “My sister-in-law.”

Ji Anan nearly choked… Was Beiming Yechen being sarcastic, or was he taking advantage of the fact that she hadn’t seen this “Ji Anan” before?

The phone started to ring, and Beiming Yechen connected his Bluetooth headset.

“Second Young Master, we’ve already sent people to the Ji family’s house, but she hasn’t returned yet. We just passed by Longxin Road, and we saw a figure that looked similar to the young lady.”

Beiming Yechen frowned and asked, “Did you bring her home?”

“No. She was across the road, but when we got there, she was already gone.”

Beiming Yechen looked down at his watch and discovered that it was already past 11 o’clock. “I’ll head over there right now.”

Ji Anan overheard the entire exchange and stared at him in shock.

That jerk Beiming Shaoxi wasn’t nearly as humane as Beiming Yechen.

“Where do you live?”

“In the opposite direction, not the same way!” Ji Anan responded immediately. “Just let me off in the street.”
