“Oh, right. Since I have no classes in the afternoon, I should make a trip home!” Song Wenxin announced, busily eating her food while talking to Jiang Beihan.

Since she had not gone home yesterday, she needed to show her face at home today, otherwise, her family members would worry.

For some reason that she could not explain, she felt that she should inform Jiang Beihan of her decision.

Suddenly, Jiang Beihan put down his chopsticks and looked at her, expressionless, saying in a commanding tone, “Going to the mall later!”

“Why go to the mall?” Song Wenxin asked, not understanding what he meant. Did he mean that he wanted her to go with him to the mall?

“To buy home appliances!”

“Why buy home appliances?”

Smiling guiltily, Song Wenxin reached for the cup of tea that he had offered and drank a large mouthful.

Jiang Beihan and Song Wenxin were there to select an LED TV.

Browsing through a wide range of LED TV sets of different brands in various dimensions and with varying functionalities, Song Wenxin felt a little overwhelmed.

With the shopping assistant talking continuously, highlighting the features of each product to them, Song Wenxin was at a loss as to which type to buy.

All this time, Jiang Beihan had stood beside her, reading some documents that had been saved to his phone, behaving as though he had nothing to do with the intended purchase.

“Don’t you watch TV at all?” Song Wenxin finally caved in and asked him.

It was not possible for the home of a normal person to not be equipped with a TV set.

“I don’t watch TV. It’s too noisy,” he replied. He disliked anything that created too much noise.

“Don’t you get bored, then?” Song Wenxin was dumbfounded. All he had to do was turn down the volume.

“Nope.”

Song Wenxin felt defeated. It was just too tiring to have a conversation with such an abnormal person.
