I made it to ch. 13 before I decided I had to leave a review. This novel is PERFECTION(Not really, but better than the average trash)! If you don’t give this novel a real try, I hope your cat scratches you(lightly) and your dog craps in the most obvious spot in your yard. I may be evil, but at least I have no regrets.
I made it to ch.20 and all I can say is “wow”, its really good.
First 40 Chapters: Good
TLDR: This is pretty cool so far. I like it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a cultivation novel, if that’s a problem turn back now.
Main Character:
Died and reincarnated in another world {What? No way!}. Extremely hard working and dedicated in the background, and finally his body is strong enough for him to really develop himself properly. Has two spirit seeds: Weak fire, strong [?] mechanical. Mechanical spirit energy training requires a sufficiently developed body or it will wreck the cultivator instead of strengthening them, hence his delay. Because Reasons [?], he never mentioned the mechanical seed to anyone until now.
Story:
The characters aren’t just one dimensional and useless and their interactions are well done, for the most part. So far there have been a few minor arcs and while it’s mostly sticking to a typical formula (training > exams to get into school > etc.) it’s developing well; it doesn’t feel like just a copy-paste. Combat flows fairly well–it doesn’t drag endlessly, and there aren’t “impossible to dodge or block” attacks thrown back and forth constantly (which are of course then dodged and blocked…), which is a nice change.
Worldbuilding:
It’s a cultivation novel, so there are a lot of common tropes, but it feels a bit different. All the setting and background information feels like it’s introduced pretty naturally as it comes up without interfering with the story. There aren’t entire chapters of exposition, but rather maybe a paragraph here and there as it connects to the story. Cultivator powers are logically consistent, and while we don’t know much about the political situation in the world I expect we’ll get to find out more soon.
25 chapter review:
I’d give it 7.5/10. Put simply, if you want a novel to read but don’t know what to read, try reading this and see if it fits.
It’s quite good in the sense that there’s no OPness (yet?), and no bullshit. The pacing of the story is good. The details in the fights are also well done.
But I’ve seen many novels that started as a good novel and became garbage so my expectations aren’t high.
But do give it a try! If you have nothing else to read or your favorite novels haven’t been updated then this is a good one to read.
