With more food, more people would live.

Hades and Delia began to search houses for supplies.
Every house had some food including rice.
Some people had a lot of cash in their houses.
The money was kept in safes, but it was easy for Hades to open them now.
However, after the Apocalypse, cash was useless.
Hades would have been very happy to have such wealth in the past, but now, money was the most useless thing.
No amount of money was as important as a piece of bread.
Expensive luxury items were not as important as a weapon.
The two began to collect all kinds of spices and food. They even took meat and vegetables from the refrigerators.
Now that the electricity was gone, the refrigerators were useless.
The perishable food would soon rot.
In a few months, only the nonperishable food with a long shelf life were edible and vegetables and meat would become a luxury.
After collecting enough food, Hades would go and find a big truck, so they could embark on the journey to find their parents.
Without the protection of an army, their parents would be in danger, so they must find their parents and stay by their side.
The two of them collected enough food and moved it to a luxurious villa.
There was no one inside, and its owner could not come back.
Most of the houses in the city were empty, so they chose a comfortable place to stay.
After taking possession of the villa, they began to stock up on food.
Although the tap water and electricity were gone, they still had beds to sleep in and bottled water to drink.
Night soon arrived.
Hades didn’t want to go out to search for supplies at night because the city had lost its power and became extremely dark.
There was no light at all and zombies lurked in the darkness to sneak up on people.
And zombies seemed to be more agile and powerful at night.
The city looked peaceful but there were millions of zombies lurking out there in the darkness.
There might even be evolved zombies who could command troops.
Although Hades was very strong now, he didn’t think that he could defeat millions of zombies all by himself.
It would need modern weapons, such as missiles and nuclear bombs, to defeat an army of zombies.
And he wasn’t well-informed about the outside world. If the military of a certain country decided to solve the problem with nuclear bombs, it would be catastrophic.
But for now, no nuclear bombs had been launched.
He wondered about the future of mankind and couldn’t sleep.
