Chapter 396: Chapter 398: Suppressing Two Transcendents with One Hand (10,000-Word Mega Chapter)
Dawn City, this massive entity, started to rotate at high speed under Lide’s orders.
What caught people’s attention the most was the intensity of foreign trade, which had increased several times over the previous level.
The hoarding of raw materials was even more extreme.
Not only the Dwarf Hills and the Fishman Tribe, but now also the 17th level Beastman Shaman of the Lion Tribe–Morton Mist, this old Beastman Shaman transformed by the Power of Faith under Lide’s influence, had also started to intensify trade with the Beastmen for Demon Beast furs under the orders of City Hall.
Not to mention the Dark Contract and the Crimson Mage Tower located in the bustling districts.
Finished goods stored within the various forces’ warehouses were being exchanged for raw materials at the fastest rate, and in the Crimson Mage Tower, it was even possible to trade magic scrolls directly for the most Basic raw materials.
Moreover, the price for exchanging raw materials for Magic Scrolls was even more favorable, directly attracting a large number of Nobles.
More and more reports of Evil Gods breaking their seals made people feel changes were impending, and in this chaotic and dangerous world, no one who survived was a fool.
Raw materials might be precious in the future, but not as precious as Magic Scrolls that could be transformed into combat power.
So, the Magic Scrolls produced by the Crimson Mage Tower were snapped up by the big Nobles and commerce associations every day, even more enthusiastically than when the Crimson Mage Tower first started selling Magic Scrolls.
While the various forces were carrying out orders, Lide was not idle.
Underworld.
Magic Crystal Vein.
The original Spider Cave, after more than a year of construction, had now become a Solid underground fortress.
The crisscrossing passages had turned into sleek, level standard roads, and several main arteries were even expanded into Super underground channels 30 blades high and 50 blades wide, with large numbers of Magic Language Bats shuttling back and forth each day, transporting the mined Magic Crystal Stones.
At the same time, every 500 blades down each road, a Solid fortress checkpoint was established, with the Magic Crystal Vein securely guarded within.
Most of the troops mining the ore and defending were Beastmen, who had inherited some of the beastly traits and possessed a weakened version of Dark Vision, allowing them to maintain sufficient combat strength in dim environments.
Moreover, Beastmen were strong and resilient, and as long as they had enough food, they wouldn’t complain about mining ore day after day.
However, Lide had no time to inspect the Magic Crystal Veins, which were quite important for Dawn City.
He was standing in front of the space portal to the Spider Plane, his expression quite nuanced.
Once upon a time, this place was his greatest concern; he feared those two spaces would suddenly widen, allowing the two Extraordinary Spiders to emerge and kill.
The Beastmen alone did not have the capacity to face the Extraordinary.
Fortunately, the situation he worried about had never occurred.
“The force the space portal can accommodate still hasn’t reached the level that would allow the Extraordinary to pass through…”
The current space portal to the Spider Plane was like a hole the size of a fist; it was utterly impossible for a normal adult to squeeze through it.
Lide’s brows furrowed slightly.
“The Space Gate used to protect the Magic Crystal Vein… but now it has become an obstacle.”
The Space Gate stood erect on a huge, flat rock wall, with about 30 space portals, each 3 to 4 blades in diameter. Cave Spiders were still continuously crawling out of them.
He had previously used these portals to farm, to gather the Power of Death.
After a brief consideration, Lide didn’t hesitate much and turned to look at Beastman King Kapp by his side.
“Kapp, you lead your men to stand guard here. I’m about to open the space portal, which may result in a flood of Cave Spiders.”
This underground space, after nearly two years of construction, had a defensive system much stronger than that in the Land of Bone-Burying.
He had no concerns about whether it could withstand the assault of the Cave Spiders.
“Your Highness, don’t worry, nothing can break through our defense line!”
Kapp’s tone was firm, his gaze unshakable.
“Good.”
Lide didn’t mince words, and floated directly in front of the rock wall, his sharp gaze locked on the Space Gates.
Moments later, the Power of Crimson on his body flared up like blazing flames, then under the shocked watch of the surrounding Beastmen, the Cave Spiders that just stepped out of the space portal immediately exploded with a bang~ turning into a green mist of blood.
The scene was very shocking.
Dozens of space portals were continuously producing Cave Spiders, each one bursting as they came out, as if the space portal was setting off fireworks.
Death permeated the air.
Lide’s face was cold and indifferent; such a minor scene didn’t rouse the slightest emotional fluctuation in him.
Energy surged from his body like a tide, eroding towards the spatial channel.
The Land of Bone-Burying, having reached an Extraordinary Level, could now extend over the Magic Crystal Vein. Hence, at this moment, he was able to use the power of the Land of Bone-Burying to shake the Spider Plane.
If it were a plane with a master and in pristine condition, even a weaker one compared to the Land of Bone-Burying would not be so easily eroded.
But the problem was that the Spider Plane had long lost its master, nearly shattered, and part of its Plane Power had also been devoured by the Divine Monster Asreaga, making the already collapsing Spider Plane even more dilapidated.
Now, the rules of the Spider Plane were already deficient, its Plane Power continuously leaking out. It would collapse and shatter within a century.
A century seemed long, but for a plane with a life span of hundreds of millions of years, it was no more than the blink of an eye.
How could an aging, dying plane withstand the erosion from the truly flourishing Land of Bone-Burying?
The surging, overwhelming Plane Power, like high-concentration sulfuric acid, caused the surrounding light to distort in an instant as it invaded the Spider Plane.
That indescribable horror clashed and surged upon the rock walls.
Under that pressure, the surrounding air became extremely dense and viscous like mercury, making it difficult for the Beastman Warriors to breathe.
And at the core, Lide stood as though beneath a Heavenly God, radiant and dazzling, continuing to channel the fearsome power in his hands.
He could clearly feel the resistance the Land of Bone-Burying met as it invaded the Spider Plane–the instinctive rejection of the plane. But without anyone to control it, that rejection was like a thin membrane, easily pierced with a light jab.
The space within dozens of blades’ reach around Lide’s domineering power all turned into twisted, shattered spatial fragments, like sharp knives slashing through the air, instantly annihilating anything that came in contact with these spatial pieces.
The scene seemed as if Lide were prepared to destroy a plane, inadvertently causing hearts to tremble.
Finally, upon reaching a certain threshold, Lide’s eyes flared angrily, and his power began to crush down at tenfold strength.
Crack~ Suddenly, the air sounded like shattering glass.
The entire space displayed spiderweb-like fissures, and then, with a crackling sound, it exploded in an instant, scattering countless fine spatial fragments like crystals.
And in this moment, a space rift a hundred blades wide was revealed, and the rancid-smelling Spider Plane appeared before the eyes of the surrounding Beastman Warriors.
This was Kapp’s first encounter with the Spider Plane, but shock was the only word to describe his reaction upon glimpsing this mysterious plane.
The ground of the Spider Plane was covered in a green, oily mycelium, above which were mountains flying upside down in the sky.
Countless Cave Spiders connected the peaks with their webs, with traces of webs throughout the air.
Enormous, fierce Cave Spiders crawled along the connecting webs between the peaks, one line after another.
This image was like a demon’s lair out of ancient mythologies.
It was daunting, chilling to the bone.
And upon sensing the disturbance in space, especially the scent of an external presence, the Cave Spiders roared furiously and surged madly towards the broken spatial channel.
Seeing this, Lide’s heart stirred slightly. He extended his right hand slightly, and under everyone’s gaze, the Space Gate of the Land of Bone-Burying flung wide open.
Like a gaping abyssal maw, it enveloped this irregularly shaped, hundred-blade-wide space door.
The Beastman army, ready for battle, only saw a flash before their eyes as the torn Space Gate vanished from its original spot.
Now all that was in front of them was the mottled rock wall, scarred by the bombardment of spatial fragments. The spatial channel they had been guarding for over a year was now utterly untraceable.
Under Lide’s control, the Land of Bone-Burying forcibly grafted the original channel that anchored the Spider Plane to the Magic Crystal Vein.
In other words, the Spider Plane’s channel that had anchored the Magic Crystal Vein was now anchoring to the Land of Bone-Burying.
From then on, the Cave Spiders could no longer appear in the Magic Crystal Vein. Through the spatial channel, they could only appear in the Land of Bone-Burying.
This forceful alteration of the anchor point would be impossible if the Spider Plane had an owner, but Lide bullied those two Extraordinary Spiders that didn’t have the ability to control the Spider Plane.
“Kapp, you continue to guard here to prevent any accidents,” Lide left behind this cautionary instruction before his body disappeared on the spot.
Kapp could only smile wryly and nod upon seeing this.
With even the Space Gate gone, Lide was clearly not giving them any chance to prove their worth.
Glancing at the still-confused Beastman Warriors beside him, he could only shake his head and put away his fighting blade.
He knew of Lide’s cautious character… For an accident to occur, that would be too difficult.

Land of Bone-Burying.
After the connection between two planes was established, the stench of the Land of Bone-Burying drew cave spiders like mad, as they swarmed into it to slaughter.
The huge tunnel, hundreds of blades wide, provided a vast path for these gruesome creatures.
Hiss~
The sound of the cave spiders was piercing, like a sharp object scraping across glass, enough to give one goosebumps.
Lide hovered in mid-air, his expression unchanged as he watched the scene of spiders flooding the Land of Bone-Burying like locusts, his gaze fixed on the depths of the Spider Plane.
At the moment space shattered, he sensed the presence of the Extraordinary Spider Queen, that Extraordinary Level Ghost-faced Spider Queen was rushing over at a frenzied speed.
“Filthy vermin, you dare to invade Lord Frost’s territory, you dare to defy the master’s dignity!!”
Just as Lide was about to make a move, a haughty voice came from the sky.
Altan, known as Lord Frost, filled the land with his chilling voice.
Lide didn’t know why this Frost Giant Dragon was named Altan but always liked to call himself Lord Frost… Could one’s surname really be addressed by only half of it?
Below him, the thousands of cave spiders that had poured in tensed up when Altan’s voice echoed, as if overwhelmed by some irresistible pressure,
even shivering and cowering on the spot, too afraid to move. Their previously excited, sharp hisses turned into screams of fear.
Extraordinary Dragon Power, those overwhelmed by it would suffer from negative states like fear and panic, with all attributes decreasing by 40%.
The ultimate combat power of the Undead Clan was not something these cave spiders, of which the majority were Level 8 or 9, with a few at Level 10, could compare to.
The superior advantage of giant dragons, an ultimate life form, over lower life forms was displayed to the fullest.
“Taste the flavor of frost~”
Then, with Lide watching, the Extraordinary Giant Dragon, with wings spanning 26 blades, plunged down in a fierce dive attack.
When he was a hundred blades above the ground, he lowered his head, and a white frosty breath flickered in his bony throat, and then whoosh~ crackle~
Above the expanse of a hundred blades in the sky, a breath of absolute zero capable of freezing space itself gushed downwards.
At that moment, Lide could even sense the space in the Land of Bone-Burying visibly stiffen, as if turned into a block of ice.
Absolute zero, freezing space,
those trembling cave spiders below who dared not move were immediately subjected to a brutal assault.
Crackle~
Upon contact with the frosty dragon breath, those ghastly creatures immediately became encased in white frost, frozen rigid on the spot.
Altan’s Frost Dragon Breath not only reached far, with an attack distance of white blades, but its damage area was also astoundingly wide at 50 blades.
Within this range, all cave spiders turned into ice sculptures, reflecting light.
After just three dive attacks from the Frost Giant Dragon Altan, the group of more than 3000 cave spiders had their souls reaped.
By the time the Extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon took flight again, the ground had become a frost domain, with those gruesome, terrifying cave spiders frozen in place with life-like detail.
The spot now resembled a display of large ice sculptures, except that all these sculptures were made of frozen monsters.
Lide took a deep glance at Altan soaring through the air.
This fellow was indeed Extraordinary. If it had been Withered Bone, he would have to descend to an altitude of 30 blades to use dragon breath.
Not to mention the Extraordinary Level, even Frost Giant Dragons of the same level were a cut above Bone Dragons.
Bone Dragons are transformed from dead giant dragons, and in most cases, they do not reach their combat prowess from before death.
But Frost Giant Dragons were different; these terrifying beings were originally Undead Life, created by the main God of the Undead Clan–God of the Undead, a mighty divine being who once fought the Death God, using a part of the Divine Position to create the ultimate military force.
However, during the Battle of the Ancient Gods, the God of the Undead fell, and the Frost Giant Dragon, a terrifying race he had created, gradually perished until their traces were no longer to be seen, thus being forgotten by the world.
This was a presence that could stand shoulder to shoulder with normal giant dragons and even clash head-on, the ultimate killer of the Undead Clan.
Now, this powerful race would once again reveal its edge in Lide’s hands.
Lide also believed that once he found a few suitable sources of pigs, the race of Frost Giant Dragons would inevitably reappear in swarms, becoming the sharpest blade in his arsenal.
As for the source of piglets, he had one right in front of him at this moment.
His eagerness to conquer the Spider Plane and seek revenge on that Extraordinary Spider that had killed him was one thing, but more importantly–there was no better place for pig farming than the Spider Plane in the short term.
However, before that, he had to eliminate the hidden dangers here–two Extraordinary creatures.
As for whether to subjugate or crush them, that would be decided after he had turned the tables on them.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes.
The power lying dormant within him began to awaken slowly due to his fighting spirit, bubbling through his veins like lava.
After breaking through to the Transcendent level, Lide hadn’t had the time to test his strength. Now, these two Extraordinary Spiders were undoubtedly going to become the whetstone for his blade.
Killing intent surged.
Hiss~
After Altan ascended, a prolonged hissing sound came from the depths of the Spider Plane.
The Cave Spiders, which had been intimidated by the dragon’s power, now surged in spirit as if injected with dragon blood, greatly increasing their resistance to the dragon’s aura; these grotesque creatures then advanced towards the Land of Bone-Burying like a tidal wave once again.
Their ferocious and twisted faces sent chills as if lifting off one’s scalp.
“Have you finally shown up?”
Sensing the terrifying presence within the Spider Plane drawing nearer, Lide narrowed his eyes slightly.
“Altan, clean up all the Cave Spiders entering the Land of Bone-Burying.
But do not enter the Spider Plane… these spiders can only die in the Land of Bone-Burying.”
“As you command, my master… These insignificant vermin shall become icicles in the mouth of the great Lord Frost!”
The arrogant voice echoed, the Transcendent Giant Dragon displaying overwhelming prowess.
Lide’s mouth twitched slightly, too lazy to bother with this creature. He stepped forward, and in the blink of an eye, appeared before the space rift, then leisurely stepped into the Spider Plane.
Leaving the Land of Bone-Burying, the sensation of the heavens and earth revolving around him dissipated, but the aura emanating from him grew even more terrifying.
Level 23, Transcendent, with the golden Ancestor Bloodline.
Any one of these terms could chill someone to the bone.
At this moment, he was the greatest terror of this Plane.
The already unstable space of the Spider Plane rippled like a boulder striking a lake’s surface and even began fracturing with cracks, as Lide entered.
The power within his body was putting unbearable strain on this Plane.
Lide, with an eagle-like gaze, surveyed everything around him.
The Spider Plane’s landscape remained unchanged, mountains floating upside down in the sky with white spider webs, sticky with mucus, forming aerial corridors that connected them.
A string of Cave Spiders hung like candied haws on the web, making a sizzling sound due to the mucus on the webs as they moved, an utterly disgusting sound to hear.
The Plane’s lighting was dim, as if thick clouds had covered the sun, and the air was filled with an indescribable stench of blood. It was the unique smell of spiders, nauseating.
Hiss~
The densely packed Cave Spiders all around had now completely surrounded the intruding Lide, each letting out fierce hisses as they sensed an aura not belonging to them.
In such a terrifying environment, even a veteran soldier with a strong psyche would feel weak in the knees.
Pop~Pop~
Suddenly, a few sounds broke the silence in the air, as if signaling an attack. The Cave Spiders hanging from the web abruptly bent their enormous abdomens, their mouthparts aimed at Lide, and then they began to spew webbing.
Thousands of Cave Spiders spat out their webs simultaneously, creating a spectacle as the cobwebs enveloped Lide like bird catchers, each web laced with a deadly poison that was terribly pungent.
The stench in the air became intolerably pungent in an instant.
But Lide, ignoring the webs that could drown a giant dragon, vanished on the spot with a single step.
A few breaths later, when Lide reappeared, he had already traversed thousands of blades into the Spider Plane, far from the spatial rift encircled by hundreds of thousands of Cave Spiders.
But at the moment of his arrival, a terrifying aura surrounded him.
Lide’s gaze became sharp as a blade’s edge, fiercely turning towards a mountain on his right. It was three hundred blades high, with a large top and small bottom, wrapped in countless webs, and suspended in the sky.
He sensed it, the presence of the Extraordinary Spider Queen.
At that moment, Lide didn’t hesitate in the slightest.
Bloodline shackles, released.
Golden Ancestor bloodline, activated.
Booming thunder~
It was like thunder ripping through the clouds.
Crack~ Crack~ It was just like ancient chains that sealed the heavens and earth swaying within his body, and then, the Power of Crimson, which was like a dragon hiding beneath the water’s surface, erupted with a bang.
Power exploded like a volcano suppressed for eons, the magma it spurted reaching tens of thousands of feet high.
Lide’s body, which had been cleansed and transformed countless times by divine energy, not only did not collapse under this terrifying power, but completely accommodated this indescribable strength.
Heaven and earth were both shocked.
Lide felt that at this moment, he could tear apart the heavens and shatter the rivers with a mere gesture.
The endless power made him feel as if he were a divine demon resurrected from the fall of the gods in the Battle of the Gods.
The space around him, unable to bear this exaggerated power, cracked open inch by inch like a spider web, a scene that shocked the soul.
And it was at this moment, atop the three-hundred-blade tall mountain, a sound of metal and stone clashing rang out, tap tap~
Then, a gigantic spider appeared before Lide, standing eight blades tall, twenty blades long, covered with black fur, below which were eight limbs sharp enough to tear through shields.
The most terrifying thing was that this monstrous creature had a fierce and twisted face on its head that induced chills,
and its gaping maw, flanked by turtle-like fangs sharper than dragon-slaying giant blades, could grind steel into dust at every closure of its jaws.
The Extraordinary Spider Queen!
Lide’s eyes sparked with thousands of beams of light, and his fighting spirit surged mightily.
His aura skyrocketed once again.
Today’s prey, he decided, was his!
He opened the attribute panel subconsciously, and the Extraordinary Spider Queen’s level appeared before his eyes, Extraordinary*lv21, but before he could take a closer look at its skills and attributes, a terrifying killing intent struck from the front.
The Extraordinary Spider Queen, which was two hundred blades away from him, suddenly opened its mouth wide and, before he could even blink,
Hiss~ A shockwave capable of shattering space erupted from its mouth.
This frightful shockwave, like a blast of air from a cannon, immediately subjected everything within a two-thousand-blade radius to indiscriminate attack.
The Cave Spiders around were directly blasted apart, green liquid splattering everywhere.
The fungal mats on the floor were torn like paper, and the rocky ground below crumbled, countless stones flying up into the sky.
The scene was like the doomsday destruction of the world, filled with an ominous atmosphere that made cold sweat break out on one’s forehead.
And where Lide stood was the primary direction of the shockwave’s attack; the space in front of him crumbled inch by inch due to the overwhelming energy, suggesting that the strike could even fell a dragon.
But astonishingly, Lide made no move, yes, he simply floated in the void, seemingly unfazed by the attack that could have killed an ordinary person a hundred, a thousand times, as if it were just a gentle breeze.
Yet the Extraordinary Spider Queen would not show mercy, instead amplifying its howl. It had recognized him as the thief who stole the spider eggs.
Rage was exploding.
Whoosh whoosh~
The air shockwaves, like swords capable of tearing through armor, collided with Lide within the blink of an eye.
At that moment, wind whipped up giant waves, mountains crumbled, an unstoppable force.
Crackle~
The instant the blast hit Lide, a splattering of blood occurred.
But even more shocking was the fact that even though that force could tear space apart, it couldn’t make him retreat so much as half a step!
The surrounding peaks turned into rubble, rocks, and remnants of Cave Spiders’ limbs soared through the air, all of these merely backdrops to the eternal figure in the sky.
After a full thirty seconds, the Extraordinary Spider’s terrifying shockwave finally receded.
Looking at Lide again, the scars on his body miraculously healed back to their original state at the moment the shock wave faded.
The scene was simply as if a Demon God had been reborn.
He had actually withstood the shock wave released by a Transcendent, using his flesh alone.
Moreover, it was a direct confrontation without using any defense skills.
If outsiders saw this scene, they would surely exclaim that it was impossible, for how could such a body belong to a normal life form!
Even a giant dragon would have to retreat from this world-ending shock, to withstand a Transcendent attack head-on and remain unscathed–just how powerful was this figure??
Lide’s eyes were icy cold as he withstood a Transcendent attack, merely wanting to test how his defense was now that he had activated the Golden Ancestor Bloodline.
Now it seemed, it was quite to his satisfaction.
After all, this Spider Queen was truly a Transcendent, and her level reached as high as 21.
Such an attack, even if there were tens of thousands of warriors present, would definitely be annihilated in an instant.
So it was no exaggeration to say that the power Lide now possessed had transcended the limits of what ordinary people could imagine.
Even among the Transcendents, he could be considered to have unparalleled combat strength.
“Now, it’s my turn.”
Lide saw the Transcendent Spider Queen wanted to make a second attempt, a cold curve forming on his lips.
What was nearly an unbeatable Transcendent boss a year ago, now seemed trivial to him.
The moment his words fell, a terrifying and indescribable aura surged up from Lide’s body.
The abyss shattered, and Hell collapsed.
Cave spiders within the vicinity of tens of thousands of blades felt as if an Abyss Evil God who could tear heaven and earth asunder had descended upon the world.
And the scythe of the Death God was reaping their souls.
Boom~
The Power of Crimson on Lide’s body ignited like Hellish Demon Flames.
The terrifying power caused the space around to twist madly.
His magic power circulated, and in the blink of an eye, the first Four Circle Spell–Forbidden Skill appeared.
The Extraordinary Spider Queen, who was still preparing for a second attack, was immediately extinguished.
Because the magic power around it had been frozen, and it couldn’t be mobilized.
And Lide, as the caster, was not affected by his own spell under his mental control.
But this was merely the beginning.
His gaze cold and terrifying, within a few breaths, several powerful Four Circle Spells were consecutively cast.
Magma Fireball, Thunder God Descent, Ice and Snow Disaster, Ultimate Storm, Earth Stone Spur…
After becoming Transcendent, his control over magic power increased once again, and the potency of these Four Circle Spells also received a boost.
Spells infused with the Power of Crimson were like natural disasters destroying the world.
The terrifying Magma Fireball exploded right beside the Extraordinary Spider Queen, and the realm of thunder, like a myth of world destruction, burst forth with a roar.
The Extraordinary Spider Queen couldn’t avoid it in time and had to endure two Four Circle Spells directly.
But just as the Extraordinary Spider Queen came to her senses and prepared to get up and flee, a terrifying blizzard–Ice and Snow Disaster–suddenly whipped up within a two-hundred-blade radius space, the cold storm dropping the temperature by dozens of degrees in an instant. The space, which had become hot from the high temperature, was directly frozen.
And then the terrifying Tornado Storm began to rise–Ultimate Storm, with tornadoes spanning a diameter of 50, and as many as eight of them!!
The horrifying wind speed instantly tore through rocks, and those shattered stones, accelerated by the storm, shrieked through the air like sharp long knives, violently tearing apart the mountain suspended in midair.
No matter how solid the mountain, under the assault of as many as eight terrifying storms, it would likely crumble before long.
Even more astonishing was that the cold frost, rather than dissipating amidst the storm, actually intensified its destructive force.
Ultimate Frost Storm.
The combination of two Four Circle Spells had resulted in a potency several times that of a single Four Circle Spell.
Amidst the terrifying storm, the Extraordinary Spider Queen, whose magic power had been forcefully dispersed by the Forbidden Skill, could only rely on her body to endure, bending her abdomen sharply trying to spit out webbing and venom.
But under the terrifying ice storm which was akin to a stranglehold, even rocks crumbled to pieces–how could spider silk and venom cause any harm?
What was even more shocking was that, at the critical moment of the carnage, a dreadful spike, emanating a faint Power of Crimson, suddenly protruded from the ground.
And then, bolstered by an appalling Magic Power, the earth spike rose with unstoppable force, smashing directly towards the mountain peak,
like a sharp knife cutting through tofu–pfft~ the broken stones clinked. At this moment, the Extraordinary Spider Queen, ensnared by the ice storm, was utterly unaware that the mountain she relied on had been pierced through.
After a few blinks–crack!
The entire mountain split in two, and by the time the Extraordinary Spider Queen realized what was happening, there was no way to avoid the earth spike that surged towards its abdomen.
Pfft–a sound of flesh being penetrated rang out, followed by the formidably haughty Extraordinary Spider Queen, which was impaled through the abdomen by the spike imbued with the Power of Crimson.
The Cave Spider, twenty blades in length, was lifted high on the spike, a sight that left onlookers speechless.
At that point, the mountain began to collapse due to some loss of balance, with 8 violent tornadoes mixing with ice and snow tearing apart the fractured rocks.
Seeing this, Lide’s gaze shifted subtly, his right hand reaching out and slightly clenching into a fist. The tornadoes directly attacked the center, giving the Extraordinary Spider Queen, pierced by the earth spike, no chance to react.
Hiss–cries of pain sharper than a knife etching glass by tens of thousands of times erupted.
A massive ice storm encirclement, a terrifying spike piercing through–the Extraordinary Spider Queen received an extremely brutal blow in an instant.
And in the end, 8 tornadoes, each 50 blades long, merged into one super tornado storm over 200 blades in size.
Even the clouds in the sky were stirred by the storm at this moment, and the ground’s fungal mat, shattered rocks, and the Cave Spider’s broken remains were all swept up by the storm.
The scene resembled divine punishment descending on the unforgivable sinners in the murals of a church.
It was a heart-shaking spectacle.
Accompanied by the howling wind in his ears,
the howls of the Extraordinary Spider Queen became increasingly agonizing. This Extraordinary creature, which had only attacked once, was suppressed on the spot by Lide without any chance of resistance.
But then, a system notification suddenly sounded, causing him to pause slightly.
“Ding~ Spiritual power has reached the required level and has successfully performed Multi-casting. The Casting Talent of Dual Casting has been upgraded to Multi-casting.”
Multi-casting?
He had just subconsciously slammed out several potent Spells, without any thought given to the issue of multi-casting.
But now, he could feel that the barrier which had previously hindered his casting had vanished. As long as his spiritual power could handle it, he could simultaneously cast as many as 10 Spells.
A true artillery Mage.
Having received the system’s message, Lide had a subtly complex expression. Multi-casting wasn’t something ordinary Transcendents could achieve–it required additional conditions.
The key aspects had to include Extraordinary Magic Affinity and Extraordinary Magic Control–these two Extraordinary passive skills.
But the biggest problem was that the “Extreme” level was already the pinnacle for passive skills and under normal circumstances, it was impossible to reach the Extraordinary Level.
Unless someone was a super being with terrifying bloodline like Lide, even those who ascended to Legendary status could at most wield Dual Casting, and at best perform a Fake Triple Casting as he had before.
After absorbing Divine Power and upgrading, his potential had reached a terrifying degree beyond words. With Multi-casting at his disposal, even Lide couldn’t estimate his own strength at this moment.
Hiss–
With several Spells attacking simultaneously, the cries of the Extraordinary Spider Queen grew fainter and fainter.
This queen might be formidable, but in front of Lide, who had myriad means at his disposal, it was merely a creature being crushed.
Lide’s gaze was piercing. Sensing that the opponent’s aura was waning, he slightly waved his hand, and the Spells at that moment dissipated in an instant, like a light breeze brushing past. The scene that was once apocalyptic moments ago turned into a stream babbling gently.
But the surrounding devastation still served as a reminder to outsiders of what had just happened here.
The Extraordinary Spider, impaled by the spike, was now drawing breaths sparser than its exhalations, and even with a formidable body, it was now like a lamb awaiting slaughter.
In this fight, Lide hadn’t even used one-third of his strength, and merely a few Spells thrown down had already debilitated the Extraordinary creature.
Although there was only a two-level disparity, the difference in combat power was as vast as the sky is from the earth.
Just as Lide was about to move forward and check the body status of the Extraordinary Spider Queen, the space behind him suddenly tore apart.
Then, an odd spider with three-bladed limbs resembling mantis scythes appeared behind him.
Thin wings flapped madly, the surging air currents bringing it exaggerated speed, and its two blade-like forelimbs swiped horizontally at Lide.
The air exploded with the urgency of malice unveiled.
Lide felt the killing intent and his lips curved into a chilling smile. Just as the ancient spider’s blade-like forelimb was about to tear him apart, he slightly turned his body and with his right hand, he casually grabbed the blade that could slice through steel like it was mere weeds.
The dreadful force that could rip apart space became as futile as a child’s effort in front of him.
The same trick–he had stepped into the Spider Plane before, only to be killed by this Extraordinary Blade Spider, and now it dared to try the same tactic again.
How pitifully stupid.
The Blade Spider’s large green eyes flashed with rage, and another blade-like forelimb came slicing through the air, ripping the space with its sharp edge.
But to its astonishment, Lide extended his right hand and grabbed the other blade-like forelimb as well.
What??
At this moment, the Blade Spider’s mind must have been filled with question marks. What kind of move was this?
Before it had time to react, suddenly it felt a sharp pain in its forelimbs, and plurt plurt–with two dull sounds, green liquid sprayed out.
Then the Extraordinary Blade Spider watched in horror as its two lethal weapons were brutally ripped out by this terrifying being before it.
The blade-like forelimbs–gone.
Lide held the Blade Spider’s weapons in his hands, his lips curving into an even colder smile.
When a tiger loses its teeth, what can it do to roar and intimidate?
Feeling that its once easy prey had become an unstoppable terrifying entity, the fairly intelligent Blade Spider didn’t choose to fight head-on. Instead, it turned and vanished into the dimension, fleeing.
Lide didn’t seem surprised by this at all, but his bloodshot eyes grew colder.
The two blade-like forelimbs disappeared from his hands, and then with a clench of his right fist, the Bloodline Power burst out like magma, and the Power of Crimson enshrouded his body, igniting fiercely as if doused with gasoline.
Bloodline Power, depleted by 50%.
As his body burst forth with nearly overwhelming strength, Lide threw a punch at the void before him.
At that instant, the Power of Crimson, compressed to its extreme, exploded with a ferocity a million times greater than that of a cannonball.
It seemed as though heaven and earth were trembling.
And then an even more stunning scene ensued–within 500 blades’ range around Lide, space shattered like a broken mirror.
Spatial turbulence erupted.
The very same Extraordinary Blade Spider that had just hidden in the Dimension Plane was thrown out of the exploding space like a dog.
Lide saw this and his gaze became even more indifferent; his right hand reached out, and Power of Crimson surged again, then his five fingers clenched into a fist.
Crack–
Power of Crimson dissipated.
Hoo-hoo–around 500 blades in space, the Power of Crimson, now like water being absorbed by a sponge, crazily surged toward the Extraordinary Blade Spider.
In the blink of an eye, a crimson hue enveloped the Blade Spider.
At this point, the Blade Spider only felt its soul threatened by an indescribable sense of danger as something seemed to devour it.
But as it attempted to enter the Dimension Plane once more, a sharp command cut off all its hopes.
“Explode!”
Lide’s indifferent voice echoed through the shattered world, and then the Extraordinary Blade Spider’s body burst–bang–into pieces.
Its limbs shattered to nothing, its body riddled with dozens of dense holes, as green fluid gushed out.
The Extraordinary Spider, which had just been intent on hunting Lide and flaunting its power, now crashed to the ground like a dead dog,
Boom–a dull sound upon impact, and while not yet dead, it was in no better condition than an Extraordinary Spider Queen besieged by several Four Circle Magic attacks.
Spider Plane, two Extraordinary beings.
Suppressed.
No dallying, no hesitation, these two Extraordinary beings, who had dominated the Plane for who knows how many years, were now like sheep to be slaughtered under Lide’s feet.
And as for the surrounding Cave Spiders, without the control of the Extraordinary Spider Queen and under the imposing, god-like aura of Lide, they didn’t dare come close and fled in utter terror.
At this moment, Lide was like a Demon God revived from ancient times.
