Sheng Yi, who was reading Comprehensive Mirror in Aid of Governance sitting across from his son on the couch, saw his son with his phone in hand and frowning for a while, then scratched his head and looking like he had a hard time sitting still. Lifting his brows some, there was suspicion in Sheng Yi’s eyes.

That being said, when Sheng Xiuyan looked over at him, Sheng Yi calmly set aside his suspicion and said solemnly, “Sit properly.”

Even his annoyance from almost exposing himself was gone.

Sheng Xiuyan put away his phone and said to Sheng Yi, “I’m heading back to my room.” He then stood up and headed upstairs, feeling good about himself.
