Ye Xingguang didn’t know about the maids’ gloat at all.

The man’s unbelievably handsome face was paler than paper under the light. His brows were tightly furrowed, as if he was enduring something. Was he sick?

She bent down and wanted to help him up. “Get up. I’ll help you to the couch in the living room. Are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to call the doctor for you?”

But before her hand could touch the man’s arm, Ye Junqing retracted his hand and looked up with his red eyes. His voice was as cold as ice. “Who asked you to stay here?”
