Chapter 26: Sleeping On The Wrong Bed

“Cough, cough, cough—” Chi Nan’s lungs were about to be coughed out.

He tried his best to vomit one last mouthful of water and lay down on his back, breathing heavily.

“Alright, he’s still alive!” Someone beside him heaved a sigh of relief.

Chi Nan coughed and struggled to sit up.

Okay?” The person who saved him stepped on the stool in front of Chi Nan’s bed and played with a switchblade in his hand. His tone was teasing as another person stood at the side and looked at him mockingly.

“Don’t worry, I won’t return you one cent less.” Chi Nan panted.

“Moreover, I want to introduce you to a big business. This time, I’ll let you earn your retirement pension!” Chi Nan said fiercely.

“Oh?” The two of them looked at each other, not quite believing Chi Nan’s words.

Chi Nan wiped his face and let out a shaky breath. He said fiercely, “Let’s see if you have the guts!”
