She took her time to countdown yet every single word she said was just like a stone being smashed into everyone’s heart.

Upon seeing that the horde of zombies were very excited and looked ready to create trouble, the base leader immediately shouted, “Come in first! I just want to make sure that you are not a zombie. Once I am sure of it, I will give you the base. Have your troops retreat first!”

The girl narrowed her round eyes irritatedly.

The base leader immediately said, “If you are a zombie, what’s the difference between passing the base to you and letting the zombies attack the city? I just want to make sure that you are not a zombie!”

The demon lord pondered for a moment.

He made sense.

If these people thought that their outcome would be the same, they would not be willing to give up their base and would fight to their death.

The demon lord gave a faint smile and revealed her little canine teeth. Her eye-smile made her look very obedient and innocent. “Alright.”

“Let’s go,” said Yun Xia to the teenager behind her casually as she made a move first.

The two of them calmly walked into the base.

The demon lord’s posture, however, could be said to be arrogant when she paraded into the base. It was as if she was not walking into a military base but her own backyard.

The people in the base remained silent.

They could not help it as well. After all, she had the longer end of the stick.

Anyone would feel confident if they had an army of zombies that looked as though a black cloud had descended to the land backing them up.

When he looked at the little girl closely, the base leader felt that this was even more ridiculous. This little girl looked very clean and pure. Her eyes were as round as that of a deer and were even very moist. No matter how he looked, she did look like a cute and pretty kid.

“What do you want the base for?” asked the base leader in a solemn voice after he took a deep breath.

The others saw that he seemed to want to agree to the little girl’s request and couldn’t help but throw glances at one another. They were very shocked.

However, they fell into silence again.

They couldn’t possibly fight to their death, right?

When everyone gave their silent consent, somebody at the back wore a ruthless expression.

He stood out and said in a loud voice, “Who knows what this barbie doll wants to do with the base? Building a base requires a lot of zombie crystal cores, will she allow us to harvest the crystal cores?”

His ruthless gaze was like that of a venomous snake.

The base leader froze and berated, “Shut up! Don’t think I don’t know what you are thinking! You can’t wait for me to die so that you can take over my place, right?”

The other party only smirked evilly.

Yun Xia sized the person up.

“Crystal core?” asked Yun Xia in a gentle voice. She turned around slowly to look towards Yan Zhuo. “Where’s our crystal cores?”

The teenager looked at the zombie officer outside.

A file of zombies carried a few sacks and walked out from the army to lay the things in the sack out.
