I wondered what would happen if the Four Great Heavenly Kings came to me, but fortunately, the principal started talking faster than they could approach me. After a few beeps from the speaker, the students’ attention was focused on the stage as they heard the microphone test.

“Oh, hello, freshmen of Choi Kang High School. Did you sleep well last night?”

“Yes!”

This isn’t an elementary school field trip. Having the mental age of twenty three in the body of a seventeen-year old definitely made me feel out of place. I waited for the next set of instructions after the students responded. I wanted this to end quickly so I could lock myself in the classroom.

“As announced, we will proceed with imprinting classes. If you go to the playground and find a teacher holding a sign with your class, the teacher in charge will help you with imprinting. Of course, there will be exceptions for students who haven’t been assigned a class.”

“…”

It was all going well, and I bit my lip in hopes that the teacher would mention the exception, and soon, the expected words came out of the principal’s mouth.

“Kang Sihyun and Lee Hamin, both of you will be imprinting differently. For Hamin, you can choose the class you want since you’re a dual-class. For Sihyun, you have to imprint a new class, so a teacher will tend to you separately.”

I was in a dual-class too. I didn’t want to tell them so I kept my mouth shut as the principal smiled at me. Well, it was a kinda-happy expression.

“Now, let the imprinting begin. Students, please go to the playground and follow your teacher’s instructions!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the teachers standing on either side began guiding the students. When a teacher with her hair tied up walked towards me, I exchanged eye contact with Haru and met her gaze.

“Are you the student in the new class?”

I nodded. The teacher guided me to the playground and continued to converse.

“At this point, the probability of a new class appearing is very rare, so it is an honor for you to be put in a new class. When I arrived at the tent and sat down, the teacher disappeared, saying they would bring the registration machine, which looked like a crystal ball. It looked similar to the tester.

“You can raise your hand, just like before, but remember your class ability. The registration machine will take care of everything.”

I thought it would be a bit more complicated, but it was simpler than I thought. I nodded, wondering if this was the power of 21st century science. I raised my hand over the crystal ball.

When I looked back in surprise, the teacher smiled at me, looking relieved.

“The screen is only visible to you, so don’t worry. It’s set to be that way.”

I nodded in embarrassment and stared at the hologram window in front of me. ‘Registering class…’ When I recalled Kang Sihyun’s copy ability, ‘.’ appeared on the window. It was surprising to see it change on its own when I was just thinking about the ability.

After about three minutes, the screen stopped buffering.
