Chapter 28: A Beauty Walking Out of the Painting

The others quickly shook their heads. “The dress is beautiful, but you’re even more beautiful!”

“Mila, you’re so beautiful! You’re blinding me!” Rosy exclaimed.

“She’s really beautiful.” The makeup artist had been in the entertainment industry for so many years and had seen many beauties. She had to admit Mila was the most stunning.

Mila blushed and walked to the background board. She stood elegantly and waited for the cameraman to take a photo.

Mila changed countless times throughout the day and basically tried on all the clothes on the rack. Then, the cameraman took photos and showed them to the production team to decide which photo to use as a makeup photo.

At six o’clock, Mila finally finished trying on the clothes. She leaned on the sofa tiredly and called Chaucer to instruct him on watering the plants like the day before.

“Yes, I tried on a lot of clothes today. The production team will be live-streaming and interacting with the fans later. I have to be there, too.” Mila said weakly.

“Don’t tire yourself out. Have some rest.”

“Okay.” Mila smiled sweetly and teased, “Chaucer, you care about me now. That’s so rare!”

“Of course, you can! You used to ignore me. I thought you hated me!”

“I’ve never hated you, and I admire you more and more.” Chaucer looked at her through the screen. “Mila, I hope we can always get along.”

“I hope so too.”

Actually, Mila was still very satisfied with this marriage. Chaucer didn’t ask them to have sex, and she didn’t need to worry about pleasing his mother. She could go out to work like before and live in a big house. It seemed much more comfortable than before.
