Chapter 19: The Disappearance of Liu Qingcang

Nodding to herself, Yan Xin turned to face the bodyguards. “Could you guys carry out some tasks for me? Here’s what I’m going to do…”

After assigning the duties to them, she sat down and asked the old maid to cook for her.

“Mistress Yan, the Young Master has been kidnapped. Aren’t you nervous?” she asked with a worried expression. Although he did not often return to the villa, this old maid had watched him grow up; it was natural that she would be really worried about his safety.

However, these people didn’t make him wait for long. Not long after, the black-robed man entered the room. His cold aura made Qingcang shiver involuntarily.

The words he asked were also ice-cold.

“What are you talking about? I don’t know.” Qingcang was also telling the truth; he didn’t know much about Yan Xin to begin with.

“Humph, are you trying to test me?” The black-robed man glared at him, even grabbing his chin.

“You!” The man was so angry that he flung his chin away.

Just then, the doors to the room suddenly slammed open, revealing a man at the entrance.

“Young Master Xie was kidnapped.” The man said softly.

In response, the black-robed man scoffed. “Humph, little girl, you actually played this trick with me.” After that, he glared at Qingcang fiercely, then slammed the door and left.

“There’s no use in capturing me.” Xie Mingyu protested. He was tied to a chair in all sorts of ways and spoke to Yan Yi with a genial expression, as if he was not the one who had been kidnapped. “I really so want to cooperate with you.
