After learning of my past connection with Rina san, I continued my relationship with her smoothly.

After the final exams were over, time passed more quickly than usual at school, and summer vacation was approaching in a blink of an eye.

There was no fighting between me and Rina san, and we are living a lovey-dovey, fun-filled life together.

I am living such an enviable life, but I have one problem.

And that is, Yuika.

Currently, there’s a rift between Rina and Yuika.

You could say that it’s something like a cold war.

Anyway, they are far from being close sisters.

And the cause of this rift is me.

Even though I’m her boyfriend, I think it’s rude of me to interfere in the relationship between the sisters.

But somehow I want to repair their relationship, and I just can’t think of a way to do it, and I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

I said something like [Don’t get in the way between me and Rina san.] to Yuika.

I mean, he told Yutaka, “Don’t get in the way of me and Rina-san.

Seriously, who am I to say that I  want to repair the relationship.

But I definitely didn’t want to create a rift between the sisters……

“Sigh.”

I rested my back on the bench in the shopping mall while sighing heavily.

As I stared vaguely at the waves of people coming and going, something cold hit my right cheek.

“Are you exhausted?”

“Well… I’m shopping with you, Rina san.”

I received a can of soda from Rina san.

A lot of paper bags were sitting around me.

I haven’t told you, but I’m on a date right now.

“Because there were so many things I wanted.”

“I’m jealous of you. I don’t have much of a desire for things.”

“I see. Don’t you want something?”

“If I had to say, it would be you, Rina san.”

“I’m already yours.”

 “D-don’t just say it back to me. I thought Rina san would be embarrassed……”

I was going to make her blush, but she countered.

Damn, I won’t give her to anyone. Not Rina san.

Rina san rested her head on my shoulder.

I gulped down a soda to take my mind off of it.

“……I want to be with you forever, Takuto kun.”

It was a whisper, but it was filled with earnest desire.

Rina san gently took my hand.

“Should I repeat a year?”

“What kind of nonsense are you talking about?”

“I’m just joking. I’m too talented to repeat a year.”

“Whoa, it stings.”

However, there’s no doubt that Rina san’s grade is excellent.

She is someone who has the academic ability to achieve high grades in high school.

She is well behaved, good-natured, and trustworthy.

If she were to repeat a year, our high school would be overflowing with a tremendous number of repeat students by now. It could become one of the biggest schools within the prefecture.

“Sigh…… I should probably shift my focus for the college entrance exam soon…..”

Ah….. that’s what she meant by repeating a year.

Rina san is a third year in high school. She is preparing to take the college entrance exam.

Considering Rina san’s academic ability, the college nearby doesn’t match her level.

If we keep our relationship,  is there a high chance that we will end up in a long-distance relationship?

“Now that we have smartphones, it’s okay if we’re a little far apart.”

“Yes, I guess. I’m worried.”

“Worried?”

“I’m worried that someone might take Takuto kun away from me while we’re apart again……”

I stayed silent.

It was after dating Yuika, when I met Rina san again.

At that time, I didn’t remember Rina san, and I’m sure it must have made her feel very painful. That experience must have made Rina san feel insecure.

“I already belong to you , Rina san. I won’t go anywhere and ignore my owner.”

Rina san’s cheeks blushed and she lowered her gaze.

While showing a hesitant reaction, she tightly grasped my hand.

“Hey, Takuto kun?

“Yes.”

“Wanna go on a trip somewhere during summer vacation?”

“T-trip, you say?”

My shoulders jumped as I raised my voice.

I can’t hide my excitement at the sudden proposal.

Trip…..

“No good? It’s only two days and one night.”

“I-I’m okay with it….but I don’t think your father would allow it…….”

My heart rate jumped as she looked up at me.

I felt my body temperature rising abnormally.

“I’m going to tell him  that I’m staying at my friend’s house.”

“B-but, you’re staying the night…?”

It basically means spending the night in the same room.

If you’re asking me if I can keep my reason in such a special situation, I’m not sure if I can.

“You don’t like it?”

“It’s not like I hate it. But I don’t want you to trust my reasoning too much.”

“It’s not like I trusted it or anything.”

“Eh? That…..”

Rina san muttered softly.
