Chapter 22: Keep This Name in Your Mind

“Beiming Han!” Gu Qingxin inhaled sharply as she came to her senses. The drunkenness from earlier had completely dissipated.

“Make sure you keep this name in your mind from now on!” Beiming Han curled his lips in satisfaction.

Just the act of staring at her from afar earlier had ignited a fire in him.

“Are you awake?” A crisp, masculine voice rang out. It was only then that Gu Qingxin discovered the presence of the man sitting next to her. The various scenes from last night flashed in her mind, and she sharply narrowed her eyes.

“Go away, don’t come near me!” Gu Qingxin immediately wanted to retreat. However, the moment she moved, the pain drove her to tears.

She did not have the strength to shift her body. “Oh no, did he paralyze me?” she thought.

After all, Gu Qingxin was only nineteen years old. When the thought struck her, she was so frightened that she could not stop her tears that streamed down her face. She clutched the blanket tightly and started to wail loudly.

Beiming Han frowned deeply and thought, “What was wrong with this woman?”

Beiming Han’s face darkened. He picked up the pitiful, wailing girl from the bed and started to walk outside with large strides.

“Let me down! Where are you taking me? Stop touching me!” Gu Qingxin yelled while she struggled.
