Chapter 34: No Experience

Gu Qingxin laid on the bed, her eyelashes damp from the tears that rolled down her innocent face. Her face was red and swollen, and her eyebrows tightly furrowed from the pain. She looked very uncomfortable.

Beiming Han walked over to the bed and instructed someone to bring him a damp towel.

When Bai Jingqing arrived, he was panting so heavily to the point that he could not even bring himself to talk. Without pausing, he entered the bedroom. When the scene before him registered in his head, his eyes widened incredulously.

Was he dead and in heaven?

Beiming Han had a towel in his hands and gently dabbed it on the face of the woman lying on the bed.

Evidently, Beiming Han had no experience in taking care of other people. His charming eyebrows were tightly furrowed, and his face was filled with bitterness and hatred. Yet, his hand movements were extremely delicate, as though he was terrified that he would accidentally hurt the woman lying on the bed.

When he heard footsteps, Beiming Han instantly flung the towel away and exclaimed angrily, “Hurry up and examine her injuries!”

“Of course, sir,” Bai Jingqing said as he immediately walked over to the bed and carefully inspected Gu Qingxin’s wounds.

After his detailed examination, he rolled his eyes. He thought that Beiming Han had summoned him urgently because it was a matter of life and death. Such superficial wounds did not necessitate his personal involvement.

However, as he stared at Beiming Han’s gloomy expression, he did not dare to vocalize his opinion. He carefully treated Gu Qingxin’s wounds and used all of the best medicine he had.

Tang Rongling drove away with Gu Yunci. Gu Yunci fantasized about how Gu Qingxin was getting humiliated by Meng Zhenglin. That fantasy placed her in a particularly good mood.

“Rongling, the sales team at Chanel called me just now. They said that some new styles have arrived. I wish to go there and pick out a few outfits,” Gu Yunci said softly while she looked into the mirror.

“…”

“Rongling?”

Tang Rongling returned to his senses and glanced at her. “What’s up?”

“Rongling, what are you thinking about? Are you… thinking about Qingxin?” Gu Yunci glared at him begrudgingly.

“Not at all,” Tang Rongling denied it. However, his chest felt inexplicably stuffy.

“Rongling, are you worried about Qingxin? If that’s the case, I’ll abort our child and let you two be together,” Gu Yunci said as her beautiful, big eyes filled with tears.

“Stop your nonsense. I’m very clear that you’re the person I love. From the moment you saved my life five years ago, I had no one else but you in my heart. You’re not allowed to say something like that again in the future, understand me?” Tang Rongling reached over to hug her and peck her on the lips.

“This is the woman I love most in this world. I don’t like Gu Qingxin at all, and I hate it when she harasses me,” Tang Tongling thought.

When Gu Yunci heard him bring up the incident from five years ago, her eyes flashed momentarily. She leaned over and took the initiative to kiss him.

Tang Rongling parked the car on the side of the road as the two of them impatiently became an entangled mess.

An evil and vicious glint flashed in Gu Yunci’s eyes when Tang Rongling could not see her gaze. It was Gu Qingxin who had risked her life to save Tang Rongling five years ago, and she could never let him find out.

When Gu Qingxin regained consciousness, she found herself in a warm and firm embrace. She was stunned for a few seconds before the memory of the traumatic experience she had suffered slowly returned to her mind. She instantly wanted to flee, but a hoarse voice rang out behind her, “Don’t move!”

Gu Qingxin’s body grew rigid. She turned her head incredulously, and Beiming Han’s handsome face greeted her vision.

“Why are you here?” Gu Qingxin’s mind was rather fuzzy. She recalled having heard his voice earlier, but she thought she was just hallucinating and did not expect him to really be here.

When Beiming Han saw her shocked expression, he could not help but frown. He pinched her face with his big hand and opened his mouth in displeasure.
