Chapter 35: In Love?

“Who did you wish to see? Meng Zhenglin?” Beiming Han asked.

Beiming Han kissed her lips without giving her a chance to respond. Gu Qingxin immediately dodged his advance. Slightly angered, Beiming Han held the back of her head to prevent her from moving.

Gu Qingxin widened her eyes in horror. Perhaps it was due to fear, she mustered all her strength to push Beiming Han away and unexpectedly succeeded in doing so. “I don’t owe you anything anymore, you cannot continue to treat me like this.”

After getting interrupted, Beiming Han breathed heavily. His wolflike eyes were terrifying as he glared at her. He wished he could simply bite her to death. “She is obviously small and weak, yet she keeps resisting me,” he thought.

“Does this mean that as long as you owe me, I can do whatever I want to you?”

“That… That’s not what I meant,” Gu Qingxin said as she averted her gaze in embarrassment.

“Scram! Get out of here right now! If you are still around when I come out, I’ll do whatever I want to you!” Beiming Han got out of bed and walked quickly to the bathroom.

He wore nothing but trousers, and his bare back was exposed. Gu Qingxin’s gaze landed on the wolf tattoo on his back. Her heart jerked, and she subconsciously caressed her abdomen.

Beiming Han entered the bathroom, turned on the faucet, and stood beneath the cold water as his lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile.

“Little lady, you will be mine eventually!” he thought.

Gu Qingxin sat on the bed in a daze for a little longer before she suddenly returned to her senses. She immediately got out of bed and fled from the bedroom as if her life depended on it.

When Beiming Han emerged from the bathroom, Bai Jingqing was sitting on the couch. He instantly stood up when he saw Beiming Han and greeted him, “Han.”

“Eh? Why are you still here?” Beiming Han glanced at him. He picked up the cigarettes on the table, lit one, and started to smoke.

There was nothing but a towel wrapped around Beiming Han’s waist. Water droplets still clung to his upper body and made him look exceptionally sexy.

“Han, are you in love with that woman?” Bai Jingqing asked cautiously.

“In love? More like I want to f*ck her!” Beiming Han put no effort to hide his feelings.

Bai Jingqing was speechless, knowing that only Beiming Han could come up with such a tyrannical explanation.

“In that case, why did you let her go? Why don’t you just force her to stay?” Bai Jingqing asked.

“I don’t like to use force!” Beiming Han explained.

Beiming Han walked over to the couch and took a seat. When General pushed open the door with its paw and caught sight of Beiming Han, it instantly ran to his side with a seemingly delighted expression.

Beiming Han reached out to caress its head. General’s face revealed how much it enjoyed this gesture.

Fortunately, Bai Jingqing did not burst out laughing. “Beiming Han claims that he does not like to use force?” he thought.

Is this a big joke?

The sky had grown dark by the time Gu Qingxin returned home. When she entered her district, she saw Lin Yin pacing back and forth anxiously at the door of their apartment.

Gu Qingxin turned around to run away the moment she saw her mother. She was filled with regret right now.

“Why did I come home right away? There are still injuries on my face and wrists. If my mother sees them, how will she react?” she thought.

“Qingxin!” Lin Yin ran over the instant she saw her daughter.

Gu Qingxin could no longer hold back her tears when she heard her mother’s urgent greeting. Tears streamed down her face and she quickly wiped them away. However, Lin Yin had arrived before her.

Gu Qingxin lowered her head, afraid to make eye-contact.

“Qingxin, where have you been? What happened to your face?” Lin Yin stared at the obvious slap mark on her daughter’s face and nervously grabbed her hand.
