Chi Wan wanted to step back when Wen Mo wrapped his arm around her waist. His fragrant scent of cologne swarmed towards her and she froze momentarily.

He said, “Reporters.”

Chi Wan tried to relax and lean against his body. She feigned a joyful smile and stepped towards the club.

“Second Young Master.”

The manager greeted him personally. He gave a deep bow and spoke courteously, “Young Master Gu and the others are waiting for you.” 

Wen Mo acknowledged him and led Chi Wan past the grand hall until they approached a private room. 

A waiter pushed the door open.

Chi Wan scanned the room. It was still early, but the room was dimly lit. The lack of light and the laughter of men and women in the room gave off an amorous and boisterous vibe.

“Yay, our Second Young Master Wen’s here! Come have a drink!”

A man with a cigarette in his mouth was shaking dice with some challenging moves. He lifted his head when Wen Mo walked in and stopped what he was doing.

He was a handsome figure with an angular face and prominent features, yet there was a natural-born air of ferocity about him. His lips were thin and rosy, but he exuded a wicked aura, like a young, libertine nobleman from the past. 

“Brother Mo, I’m gonna starve to death if you don’t come at once!”

Settled on a sofa made of real leather, another young man groaned semi-consciously. His face was reddish and he seemed to be in a daze.

“F*cking useless!” The Young Master who spoke earlier threw the dice at him impatiently.

With his arm around Chi Wan, Wen Mo led her to the innermost seats.

Chi Wan merely scanned the surroundings of the private room. Then, she sat still without saying a word.

“Is there anything?”

The sinister-looking Gu Xicheng had his arm around a beautiful girl who was pouring liquor for him. He gave her a lingering kiss before licking his lips and said, “I heard you have a girlfriend now.”

He shifted his gaze and looked at Chi Wan. “She’s great, but her tits are too small.”

C cups were small? Definitely drunk.

Chi Wan was already appalled by Gu Xicheng’s act of kissing someone in front of a stranger. She was now enraged by his graphic comment about her.

Gu Xicheng was probably intoxicated and did not sense Wen Mo’s annoyance. Instead, he continued shamelessly, “Pfft, don’t assume I don’t know what’s going on between you two. It’s only for a few months. Once you two break up, will you mind if I fool around with her?”

He had crossed the line. Chi Wan could not contain her anger anymore. She loosened her fists and stood up abruptly. 

“If there’s nothing else, I shall leave first.”

Wen Mo reached out an arm and pulled her hand. He cast a warning look at Gu Xicheng.

He was aware of what his friend was like and explained, “That’s not what he meant.”

Chi Wan was so mad that she nearly let out a laugh when she heard his remark.

She pulled her hand free from Wen Mo’s grip. At the same time, a voice appeared without warning.

“Chi Wan? Where’s Chi Wan?!”

Chi Wan traced the source of the voice. The young man who was languishing on the sofa and who seemed to be drunk leaped up suddenly. His eyes were as wide and bright as two light bulbs!
