After a brief recovery, Adrian stretched his arms and pulled the girl in his arms even tighter, tenderly kissing her nape while his hands gently soothed her delicate body.

“Ed…” Feeling her lover’s actions, Kate murmured with her eyes closed, then grabbed his hand that was on her chest, turned her head around, and kissed Adrian’s mouth.

“It’s okay, you’re always so busy,” Kate cooed, stroking his chest with her fingers. “I’m used to it.”

“It looks like I owe you an apology,” Adrian laughed. “So, dear, would you like to attend the Oscar ceremony with me at the end of next month?”

“The Oscar ceremony?” Kate’s expression instantly brightened with surprise. “Really?”

“Of course, ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ received eight nominations, and Oscar tickets are easy for us to get,” Adrian pinched Kate’s chin. “What do you say? I believe with your beauty, you’ll definitely attract countless eyes on the red carpet.”
