Zhou Yanlin returned home and immediately changed into a clean set of clothes.

It was Zhou Shengting who drove him there. Normally, a chauffeur would do the job, but Zhou Shengting had the time and wanted to spend it with his son.

On the way, the two chatted happily, as Bai Lan was not at home, father and son talked like friends.

“Yan Lin, do you have any life plans? Are you considering continuing high school here or going abroad?” Zhou Shengting had never inquired about his son’s thoughts before.

But he was an enlightened parent who absolutely respected his child’s choices.

His son was about to graduate from junior high; it was time to understand his plans.

If this question had been posed to Zhou Yanlin the day before, he would have replied without hesitation that he wanted to go abroad, for he had always wanted to broaden his horizons.

But after yesterday, his mind had suddenly changed because some things had altered.

He had some other thoughts now and decided to attend high school in his own country.

“I plan to continue high school here. Based on my current grades, I can attend the best high school around,” said Zhou Yanlin, who had always been a top student, ranking first in every exam.

So, deciding which high school to attend was just a matter of saying the word.

Zhou Shengting had always had confidence in his son who had been mature and sensible from a young age and had never needed much worrying over.

Hearing his son’s words, he nodded in satisfaction, “As long as you have decided, that’s good.”

“Dad, don’t worry, I have my own plans,” replied Zhou Yanlin, who had always been quite the planner.

“Good, your father believes in you. However, if you ever face any difficulties, you can talk to me at any time, and we’ll overcome them together.” In his father’s eyes, he was still a child, and Zhou Shengting didn’t want him to be under too much pressure.

“Okay.” After that, they chatted about other matters.

Soon, they arrived at the school.

After saying goodbye to his father, Zhou Yanlin walked in, carrying his bag.

The school Zhou Yanlin attended was a prestigious one, where the students were all either wealthy or noble. The school had a good reputation, strong teaching staff, and its students achieved impressive results; the management was also exemplary.

Zhou Yanlin returned to his dormitory to find that his two roommates had already arrived. One of them, Lin Zifeng, saw Zhou Yanlin and walked over, slapping him on the shoulder, “Buddy, you look rejuvenated after going home. Did something good happen?”

Their other roommate joined in on the teasing.

“It’s because they call you the Little Iceberg Prince,” Lin Zifeng said with annoyance.

Zhou Yanlin frowned, finding it somewhat unbelievable–had they really given him such a peculiar nickname?

“What? Don’t you think it fits?” Lin Zifeng asked.

Looking at the fellow’s good looks, it was indeed enviable.
