“Brother, you’re doing great. You know my heart is not in it. I prefer being a doctor. Even though I’m currently suspended and under investigation, there will be a day when the truth comes out, and I’ll be vindicated,” Wen Chi deeply appreciated it, Gao Jie had truly been a brother over the years.

“No worries, you’re always welcome here. If you ever get tired of being a doctor, come join me. Don’t forget, you’re also a shareholder of the company,” Gao Jie said heartily.

There was no operational error on our part; everything was done by the proper procedures. Finally, your name has been cleared. These past days must have been hard on you. Come back to work tomorrow once your leave is canceled.”

“No problem, I don’t want the hospital to lose a good doctor. Get yourself ready and come back to work,” Director Song said jovially over the phone.

“Understood,” After hanging up, Wen Chi was momentarily lost in thought, feeling a sense of relief.

He would wait for Huanhuan to come back tonight to tell her the news.

This certainly qualified as good news that deserved a proper celebration, and he immediately had an idea.

Going through this ordeal, Wen Chi felt it was a test for them. During this time, Gu Huanhuan had gone out of her way to comfort him and make him happy.

He wanted to tell her he wasn’t that fragile; this wasn’t a life-changing ordeal. He knew he would ultimately be cleared, but seeing her put so much effort into it, he chose not to say much.
