Chapter 934: Chapter 930 Desperate Fight Chapter 934: Chapter 930 Desperate Fight A muffled thud echoed from the roof of the car, as if a hammer had struck the heart.
Zhuomuke turned around, but he wasn’t able to catch sight of a figure flying through the air as he had hoped.
Evidently, that horrifying leap had allowed the other person to land precisely on their car.
Realizing this, Zhuomuke’s eyes bulged in disbelief.
Damn it!
Holy damn!
What kind of lunatic would jump from a car moving at over 120 kilometers per hour!!!
And they damn well succeeded!!!
Zhuomuke couldn’t imagine that someone could actually do this; stunt performers wouldn’t dare take such a job.
How far apart were the two cars?
Twenty meters?
Thirty meters?
A thirty-meter distance, at a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour!
Timing of the jump, angle, strength, landing posture, reaction speed–any slight deviation in these factors would lead to a disastrous, box-like landing.
Jumping between the two cars was already likely to make one a target in mid-air.
But the other person’s leap was too decisive, too swift, causing everyone to be taken by surprise and unprepared.
Bi Fang and others were waiting to enter the forest for guerrilla warfare, weren’t they also forcing the opponents into the forest for a confrontation on foot?
Thirty meters, with the speed of both cars, took less than a second to cross.
Moreover, during the Hunting Moon, visibility was excellent, though not comparable to the glaring light of day. Zhuomuke couldn’t see any small movements inside the vehicle until Bi Fang had completely jumped out.
Unfortunately, although the people present were trained, no one could break human limits; their neural reflexes were still ordinary. By the time they regained their composure, Bi Fang was already on their car.
The entire process took no more than 1.5 seconds.
Some spectators, who had just taken a sip of water and turned back, suddenly realized the roles of attacker and defender had reversed!
What was going on?
While some were confused, Zhuomuke dared not be. He shouted, “Lin Sai!”
The co-driver, Lin Sai, was quick to react. He pulled out his pistol, loaded it, and aimed at the roof of the car; simultaneously, the reaction from another car was quick as well.
Two gunshots rang out at the same time–one penetrating the roof and the other from the adjacent vehicle, from an initial sniper.
Bi Fang, grabbing the luggage rack, felt his hair stand on end. With one arm clutching the roof, he swiftly flipped over, sliding down to the driver’s side door, coming face to face with Zhuomuke.
Zhuomuke caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye, and his pupils shrank to the size of pinholes,
“Lin Sai!”
The handle of the knife rapidly enlarged in Zhuomuke’s field of vision.
A screech and the sound of shattering glass occurred almost simultaneously.
The glass shattered upon contact with high-strength steel, turning into numerous fragments.
Bi Fang pressed down with his wrist, his palm on the knife handle, fingers clutched the window frame, and his other hand reached in.
The wind backdraft, carrying fragments, struck his face. Zhuomuke raised his hand to block, but Bi Fang grabbed his wrist, pulling it towards the window.
At a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, on uneven grassland, he couldn’t afford to release his hands.
While driving at high speed, one could lock the steering wheel to keep moving forward, but never allow it to be slack; any dip in the road could teach you a fatal lesson.
Lin Sai turned his head and yelled, “Get down!”
Amidst the roaring wind, Zhuomuke still heard the command, struggled with all his might against the pull, trying to push his upper body down.
Unexpectedly, Bi Fang also heard the command, and the veins in his forearm twisted like snakes.
A more violent force transmitted to Zhuomuke’s arm almost crushed his wrist.
Between fierce tugs, Bi Fang managed to pull Zhuomuke’s upper body out of the window!
When a person’s neural reflex speed is four times the normal rate, he is a superhero!
Zhuomuke completely blocked the window, shielding Bi Fang, and Lin Sai instantly lost his target to shoot.
The distance was too close; shooting was too dangerous. He could only pull Zhuomuke, trying to drag him back into the vehicle.
But Bi Fang stepped on the side step and pinned Zhuomuke’s arm to the car door, gripping the harpoon while clinging to the window ledge, and stabbed down!
The sharp steel blade penetrated his palm and pierced the metal door, scraping the metal and emitting a harsh, piercing screech.
Zhuomuke watched helplessly as his palm was nailed to the car door, pain washing over his brain in waves, nearly uncontrollable with rage. Yet, there was nothing he could do, even urgently stopping Lin Sai from pulling him.
“It’s too chaotic!”
Sisko had no choice but to put down his gun, his face grave.
The two vehicles drove side by side, with them on the right while Bi Fang shrunk to the left side of his car. Behind the tinted glass, slightly darkening the view, it was impossible to see the situation on the other side clearly. Direct shooting risked shooting a companion straight through.
Though it seemed late, everything happened in the blink of an eye.
Bi Fang grabbed Zhuomuke’s arm, using this support point to completely curl up under the car door.
Seeing that pulling him was futile, Lin Sai pointed his pistol at the remaining part of the car door and fired several shots in succession.
Several bullet holes appeared in the door, faintly letting light through.
“Did it hit?”
“At the back door!”
Zhuomuke shouted angrily.
Bi Fang grabbed his arm again, turned around, his back pressed against the car body to avoid the shots while reaching for his gun to strike back.
The wind swept past their faces.
Bang!
Another glass shattered, the broken glass shards even splashing onto Lin Sai’s face, but he dared not blink.
Bang, bang, bang, several consecutive shots.
Did it hit?
Cold sweat slid down Lin Sai’s forehead, his Adam’s apple bobbing, his pupils trembling incessantly in their sockets.
No, that’s not right!
He had changed positions again!
A shadow suddenly descended, engulfing Lin Sai.
Lin Sai looked up, his expression stiff.
The wind howled, the murky sweat drying on his face before it could even fall, leaving a faint trail.
The dark muzzle gleamed with a cold luster.
Lin Sai instinctively twisted his wrist, the hard muzzle pressing directly against his scalp, a chill penetrating straight into his heart.
“Don’t move!”
Bi Fang commanded sternly.
Lin Sai dared not move again, slightly lowering his gaze.
Zhuomuke’s nape was firmly held by one hand, forcefully pressed down, his entire neck pinned against the car window as if on a guillotine, making it difficult even to breathe just by looking.
The shattered glass had even scratched the skin on his neck, oozing a bit of fresh blood.
“Put down the gun!”
Bi Fang pointed the gun downwards, trembling slightly.
“Do what he says!”
Zhuomuke let out a deflated roar, his voice nearly drowned out by the wind.
Blood seeped through his teeth, the sweet, metallic smell surging up his throat.
His entire face was pressed against the car door, completely distorted.
Zhuomuke could even hear the cartilage between his vertebrae crying out, leaving only the hard bones to desperately support the fragile blood vessels and nerves.
When Bi Fang had turned back earlier and punched him in the face, it seemed a few teeth had been broken.
“I’ll say it again, put it down!”
An intimidating presence washed over them, Lin Sai’s expression changing several times before finally settling into dejection.
