“Sara-senpai, please go out with me after school today.”

I told Senpai before even saying the morning greeting.

From the way Sara-senpai looked yesterday, she was definitely worried about something.

Yesterday, I had left Sara-senpai to Natsumi-senpai.  But the look on Senpai’s face remained in my mind. Thus, I was a little impatient and wanted to talk to her as soon as possible.

I think I came off as a little aggressive…

“O-Okay. Understood. I will go.”

Senpai responded, a little surprised.

I guess it was a bit forceful after all…

What could it possibly be…?

Takanashi-san’s attitude seemed different from usual.

To be honest… I’m worried.

“Sara, you’re thinking about something unnecessary again, aren’t you?”

“Natsumi… no-not really.”

“You’re lying. You were not paying attention during class. Do you remember what we discussed in class?”

Uhh…

When Natsumi said that, I couldn’t answer…

“Tell me honestly. You shouldn’t keep it to yourself.”

Natsumi came to me with a worried look.

Since we discussed many things yesterday, I guess there’s no point hiding it.

“Actually…”

Natsumi wasn’t with me this morning, so I explained how Takanashi-san had called me to meet after school.

“I see… okay. Sara, if Takanashi-kun asks you something, answer him honestly. Don’t hide whatever you’re thinking, okay?”

“Everything…? Um, Natsumi. Do you have an idea of what Takanashi wants? If so, please tell me…”

Natsumi looked like she knew everything.

Of course, it could be a happy or pleasant talk. But from Takanashi-san’s look this morning, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Like a jealous heroine from a story… I know. This feeling is jealousy, isn’t it? 

It hurts so much… I’m sure I feel more jealous than the heroine.

I’m such a despicable woman…

I can’t believe I’m having these feelings towards Takanashi-san.

During the physical education class, something happened.

Ha~a… don’t get nervous.

I decided ask Sara-senpai out later, but I’m not sure what was troubling her.

If it’s easy to say, Sara-senpai wouldn’t have been hiding what was bothering her so blatantly. So, in other words, she was bearing something difficult to say…

Suddenly, I felt like I was floating in the air and off-balance.

I was too engrossed in my thoughts, but this is not the time for that!

I fell down on my back. My wrist was twisted as I cushion my fall.

“Ahhh! It hurts!”

“Takanashi!?”

“Kazunari!”

After the PE teacher rushed in, Hayato, who was in the joint class, came running up too.

I panicked because I couldn’t breathe even though I hadn’t been hit in the chest. I felt relieved, but after a while, the pain kicked in…

“Will you be okay going to the infirmary alone?”

“Sensei, I’ll take him there.”

Hayato volunteered.

“Sorry for this, Hayato…”

“It’s fine. Now, let’s go to the infirmary.”

I walked to the infirmary with the help of Hayato.

I rubbed my wrist but the pain didn’t go away, as expected.

My wrist may have taken a lot of damage…

“It looked like you’re thinking a lot… probably something about Satsukawa-senpai? But it’s not safe to do so during physical education!”

I likely over thought too much, to the point that it was easily noticeable. 

Hayato told me in an angry tone.

”…I guess I was overthinking a bit.”

“I’ll listen to your problems anytime. But for now, let’s go to the infirmary.”

We arrived at the infirmary. Hayato explained the situation to the infirmary doctor on my behalf.

The doctor told me to rest for a while, until the lunch break was over, since I had difficulty breathing.

Ah, I’m in trouble…

“I’ll take care of the rest, so you can return to class, Yokogawa-kun. Good work.

“I’m going back then. I’ll let the seniors know what happened too. I’ll come back later for your smartphone!”

“Thanks, Hayato. Please take care of it for me.”

“Now, lie down Takanashi-kun. Let me see your wrists.”

I have to talk to Sara-senpai today after school, but what if the doctor advised me to leave early or something…

Huh? Yokogawa-kun?

After the morning class, Sara and I went to the hallway and saw Yokogawa-kun coming towards us.

“I’m glad I found the both of you.”

Does he need something from us?

He looked as if something had happened.

“What’s wrong? You appear to be in a hurry?”

Knowing Sara, she probably wouldn’t talk to him if she was alone.

I’m sure Sara sees him only as Takanashi’s friend. Plus, they hardly know each other.

“Kazunari had an accident in PE class a while ago and was taken to the health–“

Sara had already started to run. She’s fast!

“Excuse me, and thanks. I’ll go check too.”

Ha~a. Stop making more trouble for me, Sara.

“Takanashi-san!”

I heard Sara-senpai’s voice.

She entered the infirmary aggressively, which surprised the doctor.

I was surprised too…
