Chapter 47: Don’t Touch Me

The sound of running water could be heard coming from the bathroom. Xiao Han’s personal female bodyguard, Si Hui, listened out for any movement from outside the door. Other than the sound of running water, no other sound could be heard. She gently knocked on the door: “Ms. Lan, are you done bathing?”

It was silent in the bathroom. Si Hui called out again, but there were still no signs of any activity. She frowned and quickly pried the door open.

Lan Qianyu stood in a daze under the shower, letting the cold water pour down on top of her head. Her bright and flawless body was shivering because of the cold. When she heard someone break in, she hurriedly turned her back on them and grabbed a bath towel to cover her body. “Who allowed you to come in, get out!”

“The water is cold.” Si Hui turned off the shower and reached out to support Lan Qianyu. “Let’s go out, I’ll help you get dressed.”

“Don’t touch me, go away!” Lan Qianyu’s reaction was extremely emotional. She waved her arms to push Si Hui away, but accidentally hit her in the face.

Si Hui was slightly stunned, but did not have much reaction. She was still calm as she said, “We’re both women, I won’t hurt you. Let’s go out and get dressed. I brought you new clothes.”

Si Hui’s patience made Lan Qianyu gradually calm down. Lan Qianyu looked up at her slightly red cheeks and said guiltily, “Sorry.” After which, she walked out of the bathroom with her.

After getting dressed, Lan Qianyu sat on the sofa hugging her knees. She hung her head down without saying a word. Si Hui helped her to blow dry her hair. Just then, the door was suddenly pushed open. A chill ran down Lan Qianyu’s spine. Raising her eyes, she saw Ye Yan. Her expression immediately changed. She glared at him with hatred right down to her bones, and thundered emotionally, “Get lost, get lost!”

Lan Qianyu hurled a sofa cushion at him. Ye Yan did not dodge, and looked at her like she was a child who was unreasonably causing trouble. At that moment, Lan Qianyu suddenly grabbed an ashtray and hurled it at him. Nimbly, Ye Yan dodged.

Crash! The ashtray hit the forehead of Xiao Han, who was behind Ye Yan. Bright red blood gushed out rapidly, and slowly trickled down along Xiao Han’s eyebrows and left eye. It was a ghastly sight but Xiao Han did not even bat an eyelid. Instead, his lips turned up. “Yet another scar. Your temper is still the same.”

He was not bothered by it at all. As long as she could cool down, it did not matter what happened to him. More importantly, the physical pain he felt could help to alleviate the pain in his heart. Her beating and scolding him out of hatred, was to him, a form of atonement.

Lan Qianyu was not moved at all, and glared at Xiao Han loathingly, her bloodshot eyes were so red they seemed about to shed blood.

“Tsk tsk, what a love saint!” Ye Yan sighed in ridicule.

Xiao Han glared at him coldly. “Even if you don’t talk, no one will treat you as a mute.”

“Master!” Si Hui hurried over to help Xiao Han stop the bleeding. Xiao Han took the gauze from her and covered his wound. He walked over to Lan Qianyu and bent down to look at her. He said softly, “Qianyu, let’s go home!”

Then, he reached out to carry her.

“Get lost!” Lan Qianyu shrieked emotionally, pounding hard on his chest with both hands, venting her resentment in this way.

“Looks like she’s not willing to leave with you.” Ye Yan smirked gloatingly, “Let her stay here, she’s destined to belong to me.”

“Shut up!” Xiao Han and Lan Qianyu roared at the same time, both of them glaring at Ye Yan with the same resentful gaze.

Ye Yan shrugged disdainfully. He sat down on the sofa at the side and elegantly crossed his legs. “What’s it going to be then? Are you going to leave with him or stay with me?”

“You don’t have a say!” Xiao Han glared at him and carried Lan Qianyu in his arms again. This time, Lan Qianyu did not resist. Smiling coldly and arrogantly, Ye Yan even said, “Take care, I won’t see you out.” However, no one noticed the disappointment in his heart.
