Chapter 14: Meet Me

The result of being too excited caused me to have a lack of sleep. Fortunately, Grimm brought formal wear and makeup, allowing me to meet my savior in the best possible spirit.

Grimm gave me a black suit with a short skirt, and a silk white shirt that covered the wound on my body. Not only that, this outfit perfectly displayed my good figure, but not to the extent of garnering everyone’s attention onto me. It was the best work uniform.
I thanked him sincerely and followed Grimm nervously and expectantly.

That was until he brought me into a room and gave me a thick folder.

“The regular meeting will start in an hour. This is all the information about the store in Empress’s Alley. Whether you can become the store manager will depend on your performance later.”
“Store manager?” I cautiously shook my head. “Wouldn’t it be too risky to let me, who has no experience at all, become the store manager?”

Grimm was still as modest and polite as before. He lightly said, “Miss Martina, you should prove to the boss that his judgment isn’t wrong.”

Grimm’s ability to do things had always been reassuring. In just a few days, the gang of thieves had been completely dismantled. All the goods lost in the branch company had been recovered, and many of the ownerless items had been bought back by him at the lowest price, after these things were sold at
acertain place, they were all guaranteed to make a profit. This year’s employee bonuses were now covered.

I decided to give him a good commendation at the meeting so that I could let the employees learn from him. The reward was because of him, he deserves it.
It was time for the meeting.

A group of senior executives have already arrived, a simple greeting was given, and I began the meeting.

The first thing to do, of course, was to reward Grimm’s outstanding achievements, the President personally awarded the medal to outstanding employees, which is a positive incentive for all staff.

“There’s a new store manager at Empress’s Alley. She wants to tell you about her plan to renovate the store.”

Grimm’s eyes sparkled. This was the standard look he used when he wanted to accomplish great things. For some reason, I had confidence in this new store manager. However, because of the continuous losses, there were no employees in the company willing to take on this issue. Where did Grimm find
this person?

The door to the meeting room opened and the answer was revealed. The beautiful girl that I had saved walked in. She was so demure and elegant when she was sober. Just by standing there, I could feel a surge of emotions in my heart.
Her eyes were alluring, Her gentle gaze made me think of my mother who was far away in the werewolf world. It made me feel extremely at ease.

She looked at me gratefully and expectantly. I suddenly felt a sense of helplessness. I turned to look at Grimm and snappily said, “You really now how to cram people into the company, don’t you?”
