The long journey finally came to a halt.

Before I could do anything, someone quickly opened the trunk and jumped in. I could feel him frantically rummaging around for something.

He must have been searching for the treasure. I did not know who he was, but I suddenly felt a pang of fear. I silently shrank back and placed the cutlery in the opposite direction from where I was.

There was a series of clanging sounds. That person had indeed taken all the treasures.
