She tiptoed inside.

“Chi Enen!” A hoarse voice instinctively called out.

Chi Enen spun around in surprise, “You’re awake?”

Li Beijue still had traces of anesthetic lingering in his body. His head was a little groggy. That shout from him was purely reflex. As his consciousness gradually cleared, his vision also started to sharpen.

He saw the elegant little lady leaning down to look at him with concern. Then she straightened up, ran to fetch a cup of water, and brought it over, “Would you like to drink water?”
